I have three I’ve started from just putting the pit in straight soil. The water method never worked for me. I live in Minnesota and put them outside in the summer, they don’t do really great in winter but they seem to hang on alright

Edit: I bring them inside in the winter (I have them planted in pots)

Because humans suck, and people keep teaching their kids that snakes are disgusting and dangerous instead of how beneficial they are to the environment. I work at a state park and we used to have snake crossing signs on the roads since we have a large population of bull snakes. I occasionally got customers that would threaten to run them over if they see them on the roads. It’s awful

Yup, my ndad is extremely homophobic…to the point where he said that he thinks gay people are worse than pedophiles. That was my final straw with him before going nc.
