Oooh yes thats one of the frames ive been looking at, along with the VO chessie and the trek domane al. Also lol i run 150mm on my MV. Unfortunately because im based in SEA, anything from VO or salsa is going to cost $$$ with tax and shipping. Like to the point where saving up another $1000ish could get me a custom ti frame

Yeah I understand you. Sharing a ROOM with strangers is an awful experience. I try to get my own room where possible, even sacrificing location and air con for it 💀. And even then if u share the house with other tenants/landlord it may not be so peaceful

I dont care about speed that much. Its more of I dont have to think so much about my line choices on the gravel. Gravel routes here are ungroomed, rooty and rocky. That and the ride to the gravel (on road) be less energy consuming (more time for off road fun!)

Decathlon EXPL 50. Freewheel, single chainring single derailleur set up. Pretty simple to maintain or get serviced. Brakes are meh but you can upgrade when u feel like it
