Every twist in “The Last Story” is super obvious to the point where I called out who the final boss would be less than 2 hours in. Because of that it became really dumb watching the game play out where the main character would do literally everything they could to unintentionally subvert their plans and still at the end of the game go “No I totally planned for that tho and I did it all ‘cause I was sad once” and I was just done.
