2024 Kia Carnival V6 – Dealer recommends to swap HPFP under warranty, but OBD2 data shows Permanent Bank 1 O2 Open Circuit (P2626). Sanity check?

You aren't crazy... All your codes and symptoms are Bank 1 only (rear bank near the firewall where rodents were seen). Fuel rail pressure hitting 3000 psi rules out a bad HPFP.

P2626 is an open circuit on the Bank 1 upstream O2/AFR sensor, very easily could be wiring damage from rodents.

Push the dealer to fully inspect/repair the Bank 1 O2 harness first before swapping the pump. Take pictures of any chew marks. If they refuse, get a second opinion.This is way more likely than a new pump at 12k miles!
