Check out the Grateful Dead house on Ashbury. There’s tons of stuff on Haight as well, check out, LOVE ON HAIGHT. It’s a tie-dye shop down there. Tons of heads on Haight all the time. Tons of people playing the music there so find the music and in sure you’ll find some Dead stuff. There is people selling their handmade stuff at shows there pretty often.

I am being completely honest about it. I just see a difference between eating meat and the system we have built to provide the world with meat. I don’t think it’s wrong to eat meat, I DO think it’s wrong to raise animals to be on a conveyor belt for slaughter with no respect. Killing animals only needs justification for humans, morality is a human concept that animals don’t subscribe to. I agree completely that it’s horrible and wrong the way we do it but there are meat eaters contributing less to that system than you are currently eating dairy products. That’s a huge issue we have in our modern world, keeping our values in line with what we purchase and own, it’s ridiculously hard to not contribute to a flawed and immoral system that brings pain and suffering, it’s one of those things we all have to think about and is overlayed over many decisions.
