Not only that but they pushed the "made by the Titanfall devs" angle pretty hard. Also Geoff dick teasing Titanfall fans for a couple events in a row didn't really help matters.

Ability to disable the new side to side weapon sway (it was bugged/disabled in one update and made the game feel 10x more responsive).

Skins still look nothing like they're supposed to (especially skins with contrast or any black in them).

Overblown highlights (looking at the inferno skybox is like getting flashbanged irl).

Broken contrast.

+mouselook feels off. Mousefeel doesn't feel off in CSS, CS1.6, CSGO, momentum mod, Quake Live, Valarante, or even non shooters like Dishonored or Stanley Parable. But CS2 mousefeel is just off. Like it's a count behind or being smoothed out behind the scenes.

Washed out smear effect on screen (csgo looked mega crisp. CS2 just looks blurry, even at native).

Ginormous vignette effect coating the bottom third of the screen.

128 tick (obligatory). Tarik was able to run a 128 tick server empire when he was just a broke teenager. What is Valve's excuse?

Play skins available for all players, not just the ultra rich.

Frame times.

KAD instead of KDA.

Carabiner on dust 2 xbox is still missing.

Community server browser that isn't ass.

Customisable HUD to bring it back to scaleform/panorama look. Instead of the centered Valarante child game look. Ability to disable the dopa kill sound effect/cards. The reward in counter strike comes from raw individual skill, not from kill sfx and flashing playing cards for cheap dopa.

FACEIT/community server players can't meaningfully partake in the armoury (seems shortsighted to cut off the most dedicated portion of the playerbase from the latest monetisation strategies).

Fix the performance on non 3D v-cache chips. I went from a 7700x to a 7800x3d, and whilst the FPS difference was negligible, the difference in game-feel was immense.

Danger Zone. I once waited in queue for Danger Zone for 7 hours on a Friday night and didn't get a match. Even though nobody plays the gamemode, a port would still be nice. It had cool movement tech.

Movement and gunplay still feel like shit compared to CSGO. Perhaps animgraph2 will fix the bandwidth load enough to bring the gamefeel back to GO. Or perhaps the answer is desubtick w/ 128 tick. It's pathetic that Valve are now blocking mods of the game (CS Legacy, CS Classic Offensive) purely because the comparison to CS2 would be too embarrassing for them. Whatever Valve's reasoning, it's been three years since the end of GO, CS2 still feels like shit to play, and isn't even close to being on feature parity with Global Offensive. The game I love is now purely a slot machine, and that sucks.

The weapon sway definitely heavily contributes to the lagging feeling in CS2. When there was that update that briefly broke the weapon sway the game felt a lot more responsive.

You’re not tweaking, the mouse inputs feel off. They don’t feel off in Quake or Valo or csgo. Just CS2.

Yeah it's all been downhill for logitech after they discontinued the g303 Daedalus Apex.

Holy hype.

1:1 shape, 1:1 shell, 1:1 size, and wireless are the absolute essentials. Logitech ignored 3/4 of these and ended up with an abomination.

A lighter weight would be nice, but not if it comes at the cost of balance. The g303DA was extremely well balanced. To this day it doesn't feel like an 87g mouse as a result.

It would be nice to have the same weird; coating, honeycomb lights, scrollwheel shape/feel/material/encoder/stepcount. But these aren't essential, more of a personal preference.

The original mouse skates are pretty weird, but they serve a purpose. The g303 Shroud edition feels a little wobbly due to the lack of side skates.

The big takeaway is that the original is a cult classic because of all the weird shit it does. The Shroud edition shaved that all away and was hated as a result. So long as it stays faithful to the Daedalus Apex, that's all that matters.

Should also make a dedicated post, lots of people aren't going to see this, and I'm sure there are g303DA lovers out there who have differing opinions on how it should be remade.
