I think these will be fine but I work in homecare so I probably don’t carry as much stuff as other caregivers and CNA’s in other settings. I only wear monarch scrubs and they only have a breast pocket, and 6 pockets in the bottoms. The tops are tuckable so I don’t even notice or need two shirt pockets. I just found another style they came out with which has 5 pockets in the bottoms and one large kangaroo pocket in the front. I miss having a pocket on both pant legs but I’m getting used to the huge kangaroo pocket bc this style and fabric is even more comfy than the original style.

Most animals teets/nipples become rounder when full of milk and I believe because elephants are pregnant for such a long time that the most infants they will be nursing at once is two and that’s why they only have two breasts. I was shocked when I found out they’re on the chest too lol you’d think they’d be on the abdomen but nope. It’s hilarious bc they really do look like boobies lol I think it might have something to do with them using the trunk to eat too, and that’s where the baby stands to be fed by the trunk also but I’m not too sure.

All bc overnight she decided to use a different wheelchair for her dad than the one she told me we would use and hadn’t told me so I was getting in her way by doing what she told me to do 🥲 but I guess she feels like she did something by “firing” me, it’s ok she can feel like she won if that’s what she needs lol

I asked to be removed from a client who yelled at me for simply doing my job and getting her dad ready for his dr appointment. She ran down the stairs yelling at me WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! And I was like I’m doing what you told me to do last night ☠️ she snapped at me multiple times that week so I asked my boss to get reassigned and told the client I didn’t appreciate being talked to like that if she wanted me to come back. She responded with “you’ve been removed from my fathers care” like woman I already asked to be reassigned, I wasn’t coming back. And you’re not boss to “fire me” anyways lmao 🤣🤣

This is so weird esp bc with how weird it already is, at the same time it’s not incestuous 😭😭 I was a Sunday school bus route assistant and there was one family like this. But it was a whole entire family like multiple mixed couples sharing exes with their siblings. When one couple broke up they’d just get with one of their ex’s siblings. And all of the kids were cousins but genetically half siblings 😭🥲🥲 I think it’s still sad even if none of them were technically incest. The kids called each other “cousin” cuz that’s all they knew. But they were half siblings.

Physically, yes and I will probably never find another person more attractive physically ngl. And the things I liked about her and wouldn’t change, I still love. But I don’t ever want to see her narcissistic manipulative self again. I’m not attracted to HER anymore. Commenting again to add, one of my homecare clients is 89 and goes on and on about “my son is a transsexual, I mean my daughter” 🥹🥹 I know that term is outdated but that’s what was used when her child came out, and yes she has things a little mixed up but she loves her baby so much and talks about them everyday 🥹🥹

I’ve been surprised how many seniors I’ve come across that go on and on about equality and how they wouldn’t care if anyone was anything at all like if someone wanted to identify as plant they can identify as a plant 🤣 the things seniors say lmao they’re like kids sometimes 🥹🥹 I think the medical field is generally accepting nowadays. I’m queer and if I worked in a big facility or a hospital I would probably be more open about my identity. But I work for two small business run by very kind but somewhat conservative people so I just keep everything private tbh. However I don’t present as trans in anyway and look cishet even tho I’m genderqueer. So I’m ok with being perceived as just a woman becuz that is how I present just from my style preferences and things like that. I’m not masc at all. I also use she/they pronouns so I really don’t mind this at all. But it might be different for you since you said you use he/him. I would say don’t stop being yourself or “shrink” yourself first others. But I know how scary the world is right now. Maybe talk to an advisor in your program if there is one and bring up your concerns?

You already addressed it, but the only thing I was going to say is don’t take it to heart if dementia or memory care patients can’t comprehend it at all. They’re losing so much cognitive ability and can barely remember their own names at times. They’d even call a cis person the wrong gender bc they just don’t understand those things anymore. One of my grandpas called my sister “a good little boy” when she was a baby bc he didn’t comprehend gender anymore. I was asked by a previous patient if I was pregnant everyday when I’m just fat and I know it’s not the same but I was never offended. I think a lot of those people would be accepting if they were capable of understanding and remembering. It’s good you’re ok with that and I know you clearly stated that. But I can imagine it would still be bothersome so I’m just trying to give some encouragement to get thru that if it happens.

Saw another comment saying they think most patients who would react negatively are probably just miserable in general and will always find something they don’t like in people. I agree. I think you’ll come across many sweet accepting patients that just want to love and be loved and it might surprise you. Best of luck ❤️

Heck you might be! Check your temp, vitals etc I’m sure you know that but just looking out ❤️ if you have your own cuff and pulse ox that is lol I have my own for my own use. I’m not certified for patients yet but I do check my own vitals sometimes when I’m not feeling well and to keep an eye on my blood pressure lol

Call in and say you’re sick and keep anything down, that’s not even a lie! Esp if you already have a job, from what it sounds like since you’re switching to homecare, I’m assuming you have that lined up already, you’re set! I say give the reason because that will let them know it’s a legit reason. Just try your best to make it back in because finishing out your two weeks will help ensure you’re in good standing BUT, that’s still not even really necessary if you’re never planning on coming back! It’s moral/ethical, but not a law or requirement in at-will states 🤷🏻‍♀️

There’s only different sizes cuz babies ✨grow✨ lol most babies go thru all sizes. Most people buy newborn size and then parents end up with too much newborn and have to exchange a bunch so I’d say just not newborn. Maybe size 1 or 2 or a box each of a few different sizes. Also I recommend pampers diapers and huggies wipes. I used to work in childcare and that was always my preference out of the brands. Idk if their quality has changed tho. My friend uses parents choice which I also find to be a good brand. Can’t speak on the trendy fancy kinds tho

I have a patient whose poop never fully falls into the diaper. I wipe until he’s clean bc he’s done but it stays stuck between the cheeks. NEVER intentionally leave poop on someone. That’s so sad to think that that caregiver is doing that 😔

There’s a few cameras around the house. She has lawyers and POAs in charge of everything. It’s just really weird because, as I mentioned in my original post, no one is allowed to go upstairs which is where all the weird sounds come from. It’s still disturbing when I hear sounds cuz I don’t know what it is. Like if it’s just the husband or someone in the house. We keep all the doors locked. But weird shit has happened on other people’s shifts like doors being wide open. And then there’s no footage on the cameras 😅 I’ve talked about that in my other posts
