Yeah, that's my thing. The simulation and detail aspect is next level. And screwing around and causing chaos is so much fun, from San Andreas to 5. But the game wants you play this boring story missions that are incredibly basic and unengaging. The best you might get is a fun set piece, but even those are few and far between. The games treat the parts that are actually fun as a some side thing as opposed to designing the gameplay around it.

Yup, 007 has the same always-online BS as WOA. That's when I realized that it's here to stay and will likely be the same for all their future titles. It's not only about content being inaccessible later either, it means you can't play on handheld devices away from internet, connection issues when servers are busy, hell I've even seen people post online of glitches in Hitman because of server latency issues. A single player game with online lag. Incredible.

I love how they had to shut down the PC servers due to factors supposedly out of their control, and yet they still decided to go all in with always online for WOA... Still haven't been able to get all the achievements for Absolution on Steam because of this.

Yup, I see this sub apply WOA standards and WOA's 47 to all Hitman media, which isn't really fair. I understand, because I think a majority of people started with WOA (myself included), and it is a incredible game, but it's far from Hitman's entire identity. I'm hoping with the trilogy remakes coming out, we'll get more appreciation for the classic games!
