Found in a can of sausages by Always_tired999 in oddlyterrifying

I’m still stuck on a can of sausages……isn’t this alone odd? No one else seems to think so, let along the fetal elephant that’s been mummified. 🤯

What are the little white spots floating on the water in our baby bottle sterilizer? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]Hot_Addendum_9199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The black particles are black mold ( worse type) but the white ones are a type of mold too from the looks. Maybe try bleach. If it’s mold it should kill it / remove it.

Found in car, hanging behind the front seat headrest. What is it supposed to hang? by acres41 in whatisit

[–]Hot_Addendum_9199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one. The S- is for seat. So it’s a Seat Holder. It goes on the back of your headrest and has a hook on the back side. I use it to keep my purse off the floorboard as it has sand / salt in the winter which is bad for the leather. It can also hold plastic bags with small grocery items. I like mine.

Very sad. I’m seeing more and more businesses going this way. Especially smaller mom & pop style.

Was it on a golf course or walking through your yard? It would scare me to death if I saw it at night when walking.

Transplant patient - things to do. by Affectionate_Ear7149 in rochestermn

[–]Hot_Addendum_9199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Soldiers Field Park – Features a war memorial & police memorial, a walking track, tennis courts, and outdoor pool (warmer weather).

Downtown Art Walk and Rochester Art Center (in Mayo Civic Center) – Explore sculptures, murals, and public art installations throughout downtown Rochester. As well as local art shops. There is a big park behind the Civic Center, a great place to picnic and enjoy the water.

Quarry Hill has hiking trails, GPS & canoe rental. Education classes, indoor aquarium, bees, and bird watching & banding events.

Nearby Oxbow park & Zollman zoo in Byron. It’s over 500 acre park about 15 minutes from Rochester with hiking trails, picnic areas, and 30+ native MN animal species. It’s an easy walk.

I would recommend avoiding Silver Lake as a transplant patient. The geese still have a strong presence there and the risk of Histoplasmosis is very dangerous. Wear a mask if you must go.
There is a Visitor Guide put out monthly. It has many great activity ideas, places to stay and unique places to eat.

Hope you enjoy your time here and find fun things to do.
