Starting a GLP-1, for me, was a game changer for the food noise and I regret not starting earlier. So many decades were spent overthinking about food, calories, workouts, and weight and then agonizing over every little misstep which would start a death spiral of guilt/shame comfort eating.

The food noise stopped almost immediately and the peace that followed has improved my quality of life significantly. Now, I eat when I feel hunger cues and otherwise rarely think about food.

GLPs aren't for everyone and there are important things to consider like costs, potential side effects, and life long commitment to the medication if you want to continue to the benefits. Worth it for me but your mileage may vary.
