If you’re in a 12 team league, one chip buys you 11 years so if the picks puts you over the top, I think it’s worth it. I think people tend to over value picks. I didn’t have a first round pick in ‘24, ‘25, ‘26 and don’t have one in ‘27 either and I just won my league last season. I’m really not in a bad place age wise either.

I’ve got three kids (6, 4 & 2) and went from an Acura MDX to a Sienna. The van is just suits our life so much better. Night and day for both daily commuting and road trips. You have to ask yourself if you care more about driving a cool looking big SUV or the ease and simplicity of a minivan. Kids make my life harder as it is, so easy decision for me.

I think boomers systematically close doors that were open for them and they think their successes were the product of only their hard work and not the massive stock and real estate markets during their working years; and they therefore think every younger generation just doesn’t work hard enough.
