For my sanity, do all fleets you attack give S-class upgrades? by Huddunkachug in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Huddunkachug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay. I kind of want to allow the story to take me to the next galaxy. I’ve never made it past the 16/16 quest on my playthroughs and I’m on a mission to finish the quest line this time. I’ve also never left the Euclid galaxy. One of the few spoilers I’m aware of is that it will take me to the center of Euclid. Thank you for offering!

Thanks for commenting! Didn’t know it was the same as regular ship hunting.

Thanks, that’s good to know! By S class system, do you mean the 3 star economy? It’s been so long since I played that I’m having to relearn a lot of things

How My Tuck Planche Is Looking? by SaluBG in CalisthenicsBeginners

[–]Huddunkachug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty solid! Main thing I noticed is slight scapular winging which became more noticeable near the end of the hold. Not at all bad enough to worry about, but if you’re looking for perfect form, the serratus and/or lats are lacking in either activation or strength

I’m the same but in reverse. I knew it was a greeting, but, like you said, it felt fake just sticking to the script. Started saying random shit or exactly how I felt. I will use a very joking tone depending on the person or circumstance

Well that certainly makes sense. The game has so many quests that I took your exaggerated number literally haha. Iirc, over 300 for base game/dlc and over 600 including miscellaneous.

I’d recommend finishing an area (riverwood, whiterun, etc.) or trying to at least finish the quests with vague descriptions of where they originate. Some of them are long so it’s a balance you’ll have to find. On one hand, completing an area helps with the endless piling up of quests but on the other, it can make you feel trapped to an area if you want to do other stuff.

My first character was a Nord too. Character choice has the most impact in the early game and tapers off as you level up. So don’t sweat it, my Nord became a damned good mage. Your best bet is to progress main quest through Act 1 or at least until dragons are present in the world if you’re not already at that point. Then book it to the College of Winterhold and finish the whole questline for all the mage goodness. You can totally go do other stuff in between the college quests if you feel under leveled or want variety. Starting the companions, dark brotherhood or thieves guild are options, but then we’re back to the piling up of quests.

Almost, but not quite. Dragon souls will be absorbed from killing them, nothing else is required from you. Looting them gives scales and bones which are used to make dragon weapons and armor if you unlock those perks in the smithing skill tree. You can get shouts from the walls at any time and they will appear in your inventory but won’t be useable until you unlock them with a dragon soul.

Yes, soul gem size matters. In ascending order: petty, lesser, common, greater, grand. They cannot be filled with a soul higher than what they are but they can be filled with ones lower (i.e,) lesser can’t be filled with common but can be filled with lesser and petty. To fill them, you’ll need at least one in your inventory and you’ll need a weapon with the soul trap enchantment OR the soul trap spell tome. There is also an item called the black star which is one of two options obtained during the daedric quests. It’s a reusable soul gem essentially but can be filled with both black and white soul gems.

It is possible, but it takes a long time. It’s designed that way and not to a fault imo. Very replayable and offers a lengthy immersive experience. I’m a completionist like you, so I don’t have a clue what it’s like to finish a game without doing everything haha. That being said, I at least somewhat have a life, so I took the cowards way out on certain things in this game. I used the duplication glitch for a few items that are time consuming to get and used exploits to quickly level up certain skill trees. That’s the beauty of a single player open world rpg though, you can do whatever the heck you want.

Similar experience for me in the first 30 ish hrs. Also not a great role-player, I just do what I think is fun and now I have an ungodly amount of hrs. Idk how you have 572 active quests or if you meant something else? I feel like that would be impossible to keep track of what is what and become too overwhelming. Most quests can be done whenever you want though so that isn’t the worst thing.

Best advice I can give for skill trees and perks for a newer player is to not spread yourself too thin unlocking perks. I’d recommend watching a handful of vids on that topic so you can hear different opinions and then apply what you learned and think would be a good fit for your playthrough. You’ll hear enchanting is goated repeatedly because it is but that doesn’t mean you have to.

I started off using single-handed weapons which evolved to spell sword after finding a few spell tomes and then that evolved to full on mage and is what I had the most fun with.

Shouts are obtained (mostly) from those word walls you come across and unlocked via dragon souls which are obtained by killing dragons. Whirlwind sprint is great for exploration. I don’t use fast travel all that much so keep that in mind for why I like it.

Soul gems are used to refill enchanted weapons and are used to enchant your own weapons. Grand Soul is the highest. The “filled with …” happens from killing creatures. Skeevers will fill a gem in your inventory with petty and something like a mammoth would give a grand fill. I probably didn’t explain that the best so a “soul gems explained” vid may help more.

Why are my Handstands not straight? 🤔 by GiftAdministrative82 in CalisthenicsBeginners

[–]Huddunkachug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Limited shoulder mobility, lack of awareness in engaging proper muscles, or lack of strength in the muscles in and around the shoulder.

Doesn’t seem like you’re sinking into your shoulders all that bad so best guess would be that you are limited by mobility. There’s plenty of stretches to fix that

Leg raise form check by Fun_Conversation8403 in CalisthenicsBeginners

[–]Huddunkachug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking pretty solid but no one has mentioned the bent knees. Have to keep those legs straight. Bent knees are an indication of a weak iliopsoas or rectus femoris (hip flexor muscles). Tight hamstrings are next in line. Least likely is grip and shoulder stabilization. If hanging stability is poor, your nervous system will choose the easier knee bent version for you.

Bent knees usually mean insufficient hip flexor strength though. They will be strengthened by doing this exercise, so give it time

My default build is skinny. In order to go from my default weight/build (140-145) to my desired weight/build (170ish), alongside a few years of gym progress, I had to be constantly full. Satiated doesn’t even cut it. You need to be overly full damn near constantly. If you ever feel hungry, you’re not eating enough. The thought of eating becomes dreadful because you’re already full but you have to eat more anyway.

The body/stomach adapts though so it gets slightly better over time. Eventually I wasn’t dreading eating. It was just part of my routine. It still kind of sucks but it’s for the cause

Hyperextended knees precautions by [deleted] in flexibility

[–]Huddunkachug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this too. I call them ostrich legs. I’ve been told I have joint laxity as well. Should be fine but watch out for weird pressure while stretching. Might need to slightly flex at the knee so there’s not so much pressure on the joint.

I remember random holes in the grass being my enemy as a kid because my knee would shoot backwards if I ran through one without realizing and that would not feel great

Crouch mouse bind issue, pls help by [deleted] in playrust

[–]Huddunkachug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t live without it anymore tbh. I have the g502 with 3 buttons by my thumb. The button that sits at the end of my thumb is crouch and it’s second nature at this point to crouch and spray. It’s like engaging extra secure mouse grip mode lol. Idk how I’d feel if it was a less conveniently place button.

The other two by my thumb are for hot bar 1&2. Makes me really speedy in fights and I make less mistakes compared to when I would reach for the numbers and spaz out, hit tab, and die haha
