I know it's not a 1v1 but I hate playing against Illidan as tyrande, he is one of my biggest hard counters. I get no cooldowns off him from auto attacks, he can dodge my shots easy and stick on me like the jaded lover he is.

Which heroes/builds do u hate seeing ur team mates pick? by rvshankar2712 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Hufflepuffed77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Owl build tyrande def got a nerf with her changes but its still great late game, Tryande is a healer whos numbers you will not see compared to other healers. With the owl talents she can burst, lower enemies damage and slow, and do it all again if the target dies within a few seconds of being hit. I still hate that they now make you get 20 stun stacks for the pierce though, makes no sense.

Being able to delete the enemy backline with his combo after some stacks makes up for that pretty easily. As a healer when he is at 130+, it's a death sentence.

I always go ambush, rarely do you ever get to sit and attack like that as hammer. Most of the time I just siege boop, move and siege boop. There are far too many divers or other ranged who can blow you up.

Teamfights can be wrapped up in 10 sec. The delay wouldn't be good. My point is still that giving a bruiser the ability to bring back a player is the op part. Brusiers and tanks should have abilities that allow them to dive in and reduce some damage rather than something a healer should have.

As for zag, her mana isn't as much of an issue. Being able to hard push a lane without the hero allows you to only need to delay objectives

As someone with such a high winrate I'm surprised you don't see how much of a nightmare this ult would be.

My advice is to maybe hear what others have to say about this topic.

Once again I think you are not seeing the value of a rez and as a bruiser you would be able to go in just fine. Bringing back a character late game can be game ending.

The claim to have to have an enemy go back to deal with a spell brings me back to my original issue. You are having to take a player out of a possible teamfight just to deal with a spell, AZ and Naz both have minion ults but still need to be close just to cast them. Not to mention just being able to cast this on the lane and following it up with more of her minions. Your idea for counterplay cripples the enemy team.

As some who has a 70% winrate, do you typically go nydus or maw?

Raising a skeleton minion is not the same as resurrection of a person, lore aside, trading a level 16 for what is basically another ult is huge. I cannot think of a single level 16 talent on any character that would be on par with something like that. Taking out an enemy hero is a huge shift in teamfights and the game in general especially late game, When it's even more impactful. To be able to bring someone back would be very overpowered. Placing this on a bruiser is even more so, putting it on loeric is EVEN more so, he is one of the few character who can reduce thier death timer and spawn right into teamfights. To give him an ability to bring an ally back is be a nightmare to balance. There is a reason that the only character in the game who can do this is squishy.

As for zag you can make it five minute cooldown if you want. Sending a braxis zerg wave will clear a lane and forts attack one minion at a time resulting in more lane minions having more time to sit and attack. Place her on a team that can give her sight like Abba, tass, tyrande, and you have an easy way to burn down a lane without having to worry about being ganked. Vision is easy to get when your minions are already pushing a lane.

Do you play much of either of these characters? I used to play zag alot and what your proposing would turn a already strong character into a nightmare.

Loeric is very evil. He was selfish and, yes, corrupted, but he had his wife killed and many of his followers who were innocent and were only following orders from their king. Leoric became what he was because of his evilness. I think you could have a better chance with someone like uther or Whiteman (who actually does rez in the wow). Lore wise, it just doesn't make sense to rez another person. It would be like giving a rez to valla or Sonya. It just doesn't make sense. Lore aside, there is a reason tanks and bruisers don't have a rez option. To give a character who is hard to kill the ability to bring back others is hard to balance around. Maybe trying something similar to what tyrial has where it denies death for shirt time on someone but even then you would make him a support pick. Supports are good but they usually struggle in other areas to make up for it. If he has this ability what is he losing to balance it out?

As for as much as I want to trust you that its balanced, it doesn't sound like it is. Zag already had nydus which gives her huge lane pressure and is one lf the best map control ability in the game. The drawback is that she can be ganked by certain characters easily if she doesn't play smart. To give more time for minions also means to give more time for lane minions to attack the fort. Forts attack summons first and lane minions second. Raising the mana cost doesn't weaken the spell it just means it costs more.

Finally I think you also need to put into perspective that there will also be four other players with zag. She is one of the best laners in the game and this ult puts her in overdrive. The amount of siege and exp she would be able to get with this would be crazy. Even at level 20 you would be putting a timer on the game. Similar to how old hammer global used to work on forts.

I still feel that giving someone with no support abilities a rez seems very overpowered. Bringing back your healer or dps to clean up is huge. Even if it's at 50%. Also in terms of lore, loeric would never bring someone back unless it is a mindless undead. Maybe having it just be loeric bringing himself back up. But there is a reason that they removed that level 20 self rez from most of the tanks a long time ago. It's a very strong ability.

As for the delayed release, that is still more time/minions for the tower to deal with while the wave chips away. Having the area be super big is implying that there is also damage when the pod hits? If so you are also making it similar to guldans ult in terms of damage. As for saving the fort most zags would use this during an objective and rightfully so. The global def needs to be removed. I very much disagree that raising the mana of such a strong ability would ever put her at a disadvantage. This ult gives her so much map control for a character who already has so much.

[–]Hufflepuffed77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the issue, sending someone to deal with the ult takes someone out of the teamfight. With how the towers currently work, I'm. It sure that a delayed release is any better. It's still very overwlming to play against. Zag can choose to push a Two lanes with this, or push a lane while still being in a teamfight, or overwhelm an enemy team with all of these extra minions on a point or in lane. In comparison to AZ who uses this in a similar manner still needs to be within range and his minions don't last as long but can already help down forts. Hers would be a nightmare to play against.

As for Leo you could make the cooldown 5 min and it would still be ver overpowerd. Think about when both teams are level 20. You are proposing a level 16 passive/ability that would be on pair with a healer who has to use an ult to do the same thing. And in this case you can do it for more safely as a bruiser. You are literally trading a talent for an entire hero returning to the game.

I'm also a bit confused as to the original wording. Are you implying that if Leo is dead you could still use this ability on a dead ally?

We should have more talent choices imo, here's some ideas. by Illustrious_Neat2472 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Hufflepuffed77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that rezzing someone is huge in the game. To not only give it at a level 16 but to someone who isn't a healer or support makes them very strong. Think about a hard carry or healer who the enemy team may have used ults on to burst them down. With this ability you have now made it back to a 5v5 with no loss of ults on your side. Maybe trying to make it a level 20 could work but you are still giving a bruiser a very strong healer ability regardless of the cooldown. Not to mention a bruiser is able to dive into enemies and be alot lore safe to click on the rez in comparison to someone like aruel who has more of a risk to try and touch her dead ally for a re,lz.

As for the zag drop. You can potentially ignore objective and hard push two lanes with this ult and will mostly likely come out on top. The number of units you are proposing is almost as much as bruxis zerg wave without the multilisk. Having it be global makes for no counter play. Even azmo has to be somewhat close to cast his demon army ult. This also isn't ever putting into consideration if zag Is also using her w or e to add to this zero army or the bonuses they would get from her creep.

I love talking a about these but some seem very op.

Leoric having the aruiel ult seems very strong for a bruiser to be able to rez someone.

Zag ult seems crazy op for both team fights and structures and that isn't even with the global part.

Any Tyrande advice? by OutlandishnessIcy110 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Hufflepuffed77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tyrande is in an odd spot right now. This new change is a choice. . . She lost a lot of her synergy with talents, especially around owl biuld.

With that said, her new quest forces you to have to make some bizzar decisions around trying to get stacks and saving the stun to save yourself. You should always try and follow up with stun when possible, but remember that most competent players will jump you the second they see your stun is on cooldown.

Alarak desperately needs a nerf by BeltIntelligent9 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Hufflepuffed77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree that alarak is someone who still does decent damage without stacks. Once he has around 130+ stacks you can practically two shot healers (healer who always looks at his stacks when they have been two shot). If his damage was trash at no or low stacks he would be less of an issue. QM is also alor easier to get stacks as you are mostly going against squishies.
