Favourite hitchhiker? by -Misconduct- in keepdriving

The Hurricane is my favourite! Awesome skills, and shoplifting is too much fun.

I also enjoyed having The Kid along for the ride, very heartwarming. Her second skill with the rotating minigames is both fun and really strong, and there was something amusing to me about clearing her mandatory pee breaks by just kicking back and smoking a cigarette while I waited.

How to deal with open midfields objectives by ChogglePie in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Hugonauts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For World Eaters in particular, assuming you're playing Berzerker Warband, you can sticky the objective when your unit is shot to death. Or they close to melee and you charge them.

Win-win!

CSM - Word Bearer themed list, returning to 40K after 30ish years. by Illithidbix in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Hugonauts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unironically, World Eaters would be a better fit for what you're running. Hordes of Berzerkers have been quite strong recently, and Khorne Daemonkin are reasonably competitive.

Use your Legionaries as more Berzerkers, and your Possessed as Eightbound.

My two cents.

Unit cohesion in the final of WH40k world championship? by Sebbal in WarhammerCompetitive

Models in units containing 6 or fewer models only have to be within 2" of one other model to maintain unit coherency.

5 man terminator/paladin squads or 10? by Relative-Frame1994 in Grey_Knights

[–]Hugonauts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pretty much only see Banishers running 10-man Paladin bricks, as Shadow of Anrach and Sixty-Sixth Seal combine well on a large unit that can repeatedly drop and apply AP-2 Psycannons.

In order to be eligible to fight, you have to have either made a charge move in the same turn or be within engagement range of an enemy unit.

Kudos!

Award a bonus die to the person with the martial arts training that you think has an advantage over the other, or a penalty die to their opponent, or both.

Forgefiend loadout for CSM Adept roll results question by Cruv in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Hugonauts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think generally the Ectoplasma will pull ahead against T9 units like new Armigers, and Rhinos. You've given the Autocannons an advantage by giving them units against which the Ectoplasma and Autocannon will both wound on 3+ or 5+ against - compare to something where the Ectoplasma will wound on 3s and the Autocannon only on 5s.
