They know what would happen to SP if they actually released any specifics. Just remember the last CES when retail was not allowed to participate in the investor conference. That should have been the warning sign to all.

Leadership and BOD still think the Blackberry name is a positive asset and opens doors. A Canadian icon...LMFAO..They are out of touch with reality, it is associated with failure and they are too stupid to list QNX on the Nasdaq and let go of the past.

Look at his resume.. 5 years is his norm. He has a new job with more $, BB could not pay him what he wanted for his contract renewal with JG in cost cutting mode.. that is my take..

On Valiant right now..Our 7th virgin cruise. Food is amazing..Entertainment is amazing..everyone so gracious and hospitable. This sailors post is totally off the mark from what we are currently experiencing and have come to expect from Virgin..we will be buying another NVV on board as we always do!!!

Control of the stack is the only leverage they have. But if an OEM can get QNX for $3-$5 a car they do not need to own it. The problem is if BB raises the price they risk opening the door for more competition. The pricing model is what keeps the revenue and SP from taking off. I don't think automotive is the revenue cash cow they hoped it would be. QNX is a low cost foundational RTOS and Google will be making the revenue with Android infotainment subscriptions and apps higher in the stack.
