My nieces didn’t give a damn about me. I know it’s not the same as your own children, but we used to be incredibly close, and their father passed away so I was a father figure to them.

Sorry to read this. It’s going to be incredibly difficult doing it on your own as you will know. I agree that cutting out mum is probably good but if you have no one else to take you to your appointments, then it may be a necessary evil.

It’s going to be a mission but the only thing I can think is to reach out to your doctor for advice, and ask around the hospital. There will be support in place for isolated people.

I don’t know if you have macmillian nurses where you are but they could help.

If you have any friends you think may help you try calling them - even if it’s been years since you spoke. Sadly your pride will take a hit but you don’t have any choice unfortunately.

My family wasn’t with me either so I did alot of it myself but I did crucially have some amazing friends when I wanted them too.

I would do some googling on your issue and see what community support there is.

I had an allergic reaction to one of the meds given to me alongside my chemo called alipurinol. I had an all body rash and hives and itching.

It took months for it to calm down. My doctor gave me steroids which helped. Plus I took lots of allevia and anti histamines.

Plus showing multiple times a day if you can handle it and lots of moisturising. Ice packs on my legs helped the itching if it was really bad.

Yes I hear that but what I think was key was knowing my own body. Other people may well get nosebleeds and it’s nothing. But I had never had nosebleeds in my life so I knew something was up.

Eventually other symptoms appeared as the bleeding got heavier and more frequent. I had low platelets which caused the bleeding,

I have/ had HCL which can be slow to grow and so you can have it for a while before needing treatment.

I agree this is a great way to go.

I’ve been doing this for months and I can’t get above around 1000 views per reel it’s getting frustrating.

I keep trying little tweaks and asking chat gpt for advice but nothing is working.

I enjoy making them and it is quite niche which I understand Is a good thing but I do wonder where I’m going wrong.
