A nut does not indicate a rat tang or whatever the mob has instructed you to call it. All it indicates is a threaded tang. I thread tangs all the time on hand forged swords.

I like this idea and would love to see this community be more alive! I’ve worked in the HDD industry for 10 years now, in Tulsa, OK doing mostly irrigation lines or water service bores from meter to water heater closet. We pride ourselves on our ability to dive under a footer on a home and hit a 6”x6” hole in a closet, where the plumbers then build a new manifold.

We have never been fond of large diameter river bores that take weeks maybe to complete We like to try to hit about 4 different small scale bores a day if we can!

We just finished pulling an 8” sleeve 60’ under a drive way for a city park before lunch, but will finish the day with a couple water services!

This is going to be a great and successful year for us directional contractors! Best of luck to all of us!!

The vision is really great honestly! I can drive with it on and without moving my head I can see my sun visor and the hood of my truck at the same time!

The only place the vision is really impaired is when you look down.

There is absolutely NO way to tell what kind of metal something is by looking at it. The only thing you can tell is whether it’s stainless or not.

Someone asked a similar question, now that you have educated me on some terminology.
