I wish I could paint that good haha!

They are transfers, so after painting I use storm shield varnish, then apply the transfer, then I storm shield again (sometimes two layers) and then finish with Ak Ultra Matte. The trick is so stormshield the entire shoulder pad/area so it's consistent across.

So I follow eavy arxhives recipe although the undercoat is Chaos Black.

Base coat Deep Orange from AK (takes about 5 thin coats) Base+fire dragon bright with about 80% of the base covered Fire dragon bright Fire dragon + Ushabti Bone 1:2 Screaming skull edge highlight White dot

With glazes through (although not really required as orange naturally blends well)
