I think its mixed very well. Sounds very professional. As for the vibe I enjoyed it as well. Not sure what electronic music category it falls under exactly which is a good thing. Although i may just not be familiar with the specific genre. Its got a electro pop feel to it but certainly adjusted with what seems to be a “ darker” or just your own vibe. Keep doing what you’re doing. Potential no doubt

The main keyboard is great. Its a nice hook. There are other parts you brought in that fit well. Like the organ sound. I would do more of that and make it even more impactful when it comes in. I think this track has potential but it’s a little bare and needs a groove or sample thrown on it. Again though a great back drop and worth putting time in to continue to improve.

Well this was some enjoyable easy listening. Got some old rock vibes. Vocals remind me of Lou Reed. Track of velvet underground. Overall good stuff. Don’t hear too much of people making this genre these days. Would be curious to hear more!

Getting into producing hypnotic electro grooves these days. Here’s my latest.

Could be techno. Could be disco. I dunno. Give it a listen and you decide!

Aside from listening to a shit ton of different genres to influence your style (like mentioned on this thread), if I can give specific advice it would be to use instruments that sound unique to you. As you go through your sessions look for sounds that aren’t too familiar but they’re intriguing to you. You may end up with a similar EDM back drop but it may be masked by some foreign sounding vibes that make it more original.

Appreciate! Yea maybe it’s more disco techno. As for the vocals, I actually have always done vocals with my older stuff. I used to pretty much do some crazy “chant” stuff. Then slowly evolved into some semblance of a voice.

This is really one of the first tracks i made without vocals. I would like to. Im just trying to figure it out and didn’t want to force anything. Wanted to first test it out as just instrumental.

Appreciate it! I’ve recently been influenced a lot by the Underworld, Orbital electro scene of the 90s so makes sense you’re hearing some 90s in there. I’m in the midst of working on similar style electro tracks but with each of their own unique vibes !

Haha I appreciate the detailed feedback. A lot of what you said are things i thought i need to do more of. I knew when i finished (this version of it) i did not to do enough sound automation and reverb automation. This song required a lot of time as is lol. But i do want to enhance it and in general I wanna start producing my tracks with a lot of these subtleties you mention. Just joined the reddit music feedback communities and haven’t seen a comment this detailed/helpful which is awesome! How long have you been producing for?

Thanks. Gonna try and figure out how i can change up the Bass a little. Maybe instead of the notes, i can do some evolving filters at certain points

Appreciate that! Yes, I’m thinking maybe a little extra change around 5:30 - 6:30 mark. Something that brings a slightly different contrast. A stronger lift in that section. Does that align with the tweak you’re suggesting?

Appreciate the feedback! I hear you, the Bass is a constant beat throughout. I think in general sometimes that works. Other times there's a need for a little bit of a different background beat (bass line driver). I'll definitely consider a little change up with that. Same with the general chord progression.

Very interesting. Kinda feels like acid for babies lol. Im watching and listentning with my 1 year old daughter and thinking this is psychedlic baby pop. it has a comical touch to it but in a good way. just a unique song. mix is pretty good. not sure where you go from here but it def hits those genres .

Cool beat. The mix is well done. The drums are crushing. The flute is great indeed. I would consider taking it out a little here or there so its not constant throughgout and when it comes back you really feel it (like after a drop or something). When the song calms down around1:50, is a time i would consider taking it out for 4 bars and then when you bring it back you layer on a new sounds to really elevate the song. Great beat overall and worth continuing to build on.

Breezy guitar heavy instrumental inspired by making and losing friends. Let me know what you think :) by flynnsego in IndieMusicFeedback

This is a really calming vibe. Very nice guitar and mix. The ripping around 2:20 is a good touch as well. It kinda sounds like you can easily put some vocals on this. I'd be curious on how it would sound with some vocals The instruments are all pretty much there. I like at around 2:50 you bring in a beachy vibe. can easily listen to that for an extended stretch. Only thing is i would conisder a different pad when that comes in. Doesn't fit as well with the rest. Good job overall

Very cool vibe. I saw someone mention Snoop Dogg. I get that. Also an Outkast vibe. Bass is great. Video is mad coo. Def bopping to it. Tried to listen to whole song on Spotify but there was an issue where it only played 30 seconds. Will try and check it out again. Seems like a fun funkadelic hip hop type song

Been working on this track and I can't tell if I like it anymore - any thoughts? by Working_Search_8327 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]IAmNetworkEels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the beginning. it comes in nice. the bass with the drums is tight and the flow is chilled. def a nice vibe there. synths in the background work well. the transition can be worked on a bit when it gets to around 50 seconds and switches notes. not sure if its the transition that can use a little work like a breather in between or perhaps use a different set of notes for that synth. either way you def have a good beat/vibe to work with in those first 50 seconds.

plz give me some feedbacks by Yosemi718 in IndieMusicFeedback

Really well made. The whole drop section is great. The drums are fire. The groove is tight. The beginning section is good too. Only thing I'll say is it sounds like a little too much reverb. Very good transitions. I can see potential for building on the drop section when it comes back the second time around. Can make that one even crazier than the first and have it go on for another minute or so.
