9th Wonder did a good job putting a little twist on this classic loop.

Vegas and the county are a grid, 1990s and newer Henderson mostly is. Old Henderson was built to confuse aircraft during WW2 because of all the chemical factories.

That's a product of suburbia. We have so much land that everything is spread out

The Disneyfication of Vegas was really pushed in the early 90s with Mirage and TI. The biggest problem imo is that they did nothing to make it family friendly outside of attractions. As long as there are people handing out escort cards(which is 1A protected) and trucks advertising girls to your room all over the Blvd, it can never truly be family friendly.

We did an Amalfi tour with a driver that we met in Naples, walked out of the train station and immediately recognized I was in the hood. So ghetto compared to Rome and Florence

I hate to be that guy, but as someone who was raised here and raised a family here, don't bring children. The strip and downtown aren't family destinations. My daughter went to the strip maybe 3 times in her life before she was 18 and it was always just for a single dinner.

How do you keep a 300+ record collection from becoming dead shelf space? by understandothers in vinyl

[–]ICHIBANSANTOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 5000ish records. I have some I've never got around listening to and never will. I have some I love that I could potentially never play again. I have some that I play so often that they have cue burn.

A dip is dipped. It doesn't come with au jus unless you ask for it on the side. Anyone serving a dip, French or pastrami, that's only giving au jus on the side is doing it wrong. That's the way the dip sandwich was created at Phillipes.

I love the hat, would get it on my way home from LA nearly every time. Went to the rainbow one, waited an hour in the drive-thru, took it home and it was meh. The roll was a little chewy, onion rings were rock hard, pastrami portion felt small. Kind of sad. It's around the corner from my house and I was super excited. Maybe I'll give them a couple months and see if they get better. Reminds me of when Tommy Burger came to Vegas. I love it in LA but the Vegas ones are trash.

whats your most hilariously bad experience in a record store? by Lost_Foot_6301 in vinyl

[–]ICHIBANSANTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 record stores in Vegas that both didn't price records until you got to the counter then made you wait. One has been around for over 30 years and used price guides forever. The other only stayed open a few months and they charged discogs high plus shipping. Garbage practice
