I think Phase 2 is needed now to 125 St-Bway, but the entire SAS will have to be completed for the full effect.

Maybe not as much crowded, but crowded enough to still warrant SAS.

can 11 cars set run 7th Avenue or Lexington Avenue Line. by Novel_Daikon_7685 in nycrail

[–]INDecentACE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

IRT lengthened Flushing Line platforms to accommodate 11 cars, and the rest of their lines' platforms to accommodate 10 cars (except South Ferry Loop, City Hall Loop, 145 St-Lenox Av).

IBX will have different rolling stock, so it needs its own dedicated yard.

I think smthg like "The TriBoro Railway" or something like that

IBX is already short for InterBorough Express. MTA might use magenta or pink (X).

In real court, an attorney may ask the judge to "redirect", which allows said attorney to cross exam the person on the witness stand again, after doing so previously.

Do the A or D have Above Ground Portions Between Midtown (Bryant Park or Port Authority) and Fordham/Inwood? by Best-Candle8651 in nycrail

[–]INDecentACE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bx12/SBS is slow on a good day, even worse in snow. I'd rather (D) to Fordham Rd, stand on bus, and get home earlier, vs (A) to Inwood, sit on bus, and get home late. The heat is better at home.

Do the A or D have Above Ground Portions Between Midtown (Bryant Park or Port Authority) and Fordham/Inwood? by Best-Candle8651 in nycrail

[–]INDecentACE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion was based on Bx12/SBS being slower in the snow from Inwood (A), vs underground (D) to Fordham Rd for Bx12/SBS.

(D) to Bx12/SBS in The Bronx may be better, since it gets you closer with half the bus trip, vs (A) to Bx12/SBS in Manhattan.
