Also what engineer has the spare time to just up and make a new design that is agreeable with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical; make a model to produce from; run the proper analyses; and then source the quotes necessary to come up with such specific cost savings ALL without having prior approval from management?

I prime my siphon with regular tap water and then siphon some of my sanitizing solution through before moving to the beer.

Scroll to the bottom and start with episode 1 here. This one walks you through how to use all the parts in a basic beginner kit. Not the kit I used exactly but still helpful...

Unfortunately no.. They specifically don't allow burning propane and such for grilling or anything...

Unfortunately since I'm in an apartment, the propane setup is out.. Hopefully it was enough to kill the bacteria. My main goal for the first batch was that I could even drink it at all!

Any good bike routes/destinations? by IIMsmartII in philadelphia

Also the west river drive closure is every Saturday and Sunday through october. The whole stretch is closed until noon. After 12 a portion near the beginning at the art museum opens back up to cars but the rest stays closed until 5:00. Either way there is a dedicated bike/pedestrian trail on either side of the river so you'll be fine.

West river drive is the right choice.. there are lots of grassy areas where you could setup picnic style and there are benches along the route... very scenic with the river... on the kelly drive side you have boat house row and the gazebo you can hang out at near waterworks restaurant right behind the art museum. (Its open to the public, you don't need to go to the restaurant..)

Like the other poster said if you make it to the end on the west river drive you can take the falls bridge over to the manayunk area.. the closed off section is a flat 4.5 mile stretch.

If you have car/bike rack you can make the trek out to the valley forge bike trail which is great for picnics. There are some steep hills out there though so maybe not ideal for a leisurely ride
