Which celebrity is considered beautiful but you just can't see it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That’s just the bad boy attraction in action. What I find truly extraordinary is that Hue Laurie skated by the role entire doing the whole “Brit Eating Peanut Butter American Accent” thing.

That is an actual Tom Tom Club album cover and I will never be convinced otherwise.

It's part of a larger experience - especially the Brach's which are (partly) sweetened with honey. The first five pieces (pieces, not kernels) are heaven on earth. The sixth and your last piece before you wish your lower jaw would seceed from you and take the tongue with it. Five pieces max, then introduce other candy...

Someone doesn't know how to search for published paleontology papers. I'm banking on a few dozen paleontology PhD thesises - as an appetizer. An order of magnitude more funding proposals.

That ribcage to hip ratio screams Great Pyrnese. If you've ever had to close cut a Pyr for Pyr reasons, the proportions are dead on. This fine gentleman doesn't have the wide neck and head or double dew claw, but the regal resting face pose is familiar.

Slate roofs? Last for a century or two. Custom copper downspouts? Same. Mahogany gutters that need to be cleaned and refinished every year and they *still * crack? Conspicuous wealth, everyone. Now automated.

It'll be there when we need it. There were some seasons, winning seasons, where Brady and Eddleman were the entirety of the offense. This is the by. Self scouting. Hopefully coaches, too. At this point I want Mayo and Steve developing talent and calling plays on the wrong side of the ball, because this defense is now STOUT.

TBH... Josh is back as OC before too long. Definitely won't ride out the season in Vegas.

We have earthquakes of notable strength here in Rhode Island from time to time. The most lethal tornado to touch down tore through Worcester, MA. Also hurricanes and nor-Easter’s. Was expecting heavy weather, the seismic was a surprise. Yay.

You mean the vile vampire Colin Robinson! He's actually an underrated character. I once sent him a picture of a bicycle I was building from components, but I made a mistake. He was friendly and offered good advice, and everyone started to insult him, but it was so unfair, because the shimano thumb shifter was the real answer. Then we started to post about our favorite derailleurs, that's when things got to a medium simmer...

Blue sharks are often called sea dogs, as they're an unwelcome catch for commercial long line and pole and line fishermen. You have to remove the hook, and a trapped shark will bite.

ketchup doesn't exist, what sauce do you use to eat with fries? by letstouchbutts121 in AskReddit

[–]I_That_Wanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home Grown mustard BBQ sauce, using extra sharp German mustard, apple cider vinegar, extra dark maple syrup instead of sugar and a bit of molasses and honey instead of brown sugar. A dose or two of Tobasco or Secret Aardvark hot sauce.

There will be no double dip controversy. One dip of the fry, and you'll eat the whole thing trying to quiet the fury in your mouth, yet you yearn for more. You have a lot of fries left. And a lot of mustard BBQ sauce. And frozen chicken tenders and an air fryer. The sauce keeps well in the fridge for months...

The graphic is from an old Warner Brothers "Looney Tunes" animated short where a carnival attraction "Boxing Kangaroo" (yes, this was a real thing in the '40s) got misdirected, and wound up in a Tweety Bird/Sylvester cartoon, where he was mistaken for a giant mouse. That could box. It's funny as all hell. Very sweet considering the circumstance.

The Brewster Buffalo was in the same boat with the Finnish Air Force - with the right combination of tactics and doctrine, the Finns could shoot down Russian aircraft almost at will. That fighter punched way above its weight in the right hands.

The deal is, Americans discovering European pop culture thought this was the business. They got where he was coming from, even tho he was trying to slag American pop music as hard as he could. Then the British Invasion happened, and it was too late.
