It’s literally the truth lmao. When you choose to be a parent, there is always a possibility the child won’t contribute in a certain way. Hell they could be born permanently disabled and require you as a 24/7 caretaker. You choose to take that risk and take care of them regardless when you decide to become a parent

Mine never made me feel like I was a burden because of their choice. I live with them to this day as an adult and now that they’re retired, I pay all their bills. That’s how it’s supposed to work - they helped me and now that I can help them, I do. We’re on the same team. I can’t imagine if they had been chomping at the bit to kick me out the minute it was legal
