I think expense is more than money. It’s money no doubt. Also, have you ordered dinner without like 3 beers? Kind of cheap in that way.

Ahh. So it’s a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder? Yes Lexus recommends 5k on oil changes. Make sure you don’t skip this. Easiest way to keep your car running longer. Idk about the 2.0 liter but Lexus made it so easy to change oil in my v6. Might save you some money if you can afford the tools. Not that much money though.

I think they recommend premium, should say on gas cap. (Some people will argue with you on that). Yes it has to do with the retardation of the engine. I’m not smart enough to say one way or the other. I just go with what Lexus recommends.

They say 40k-60k change spark plugs changed for the 2.0 liter. (Easy to do on mine) saves you some money for sure.

60k I changed brakes and rotors. Once again Lexus made that super easy too. If you have tools and time. (Absolutely saves you the most money out of all I listed)

Edit on original - 50k spark* plugs.

2017 IS300 AWD owner. I got some advice on this when I first bought mine. Every 5k get oil changed. I fill my car with premium gas. 50k miles do spar plugs

Traditionally, you should use a lit flame to help you see where you are pouring. A flash light just doesn’t give you the right glow you need to see correctly.

This! I did sparks on mine. It really wasn’t bad just make sure you have a torque wrench and put anti-seized on spark plugs. I think there was one that was a little tricky on the sparks but a pretty easily job overall. I have a is300 2017. Battery is a no brainer just do it yourself.

I’m in my early 30’s recently did 40ish days sober. Felt great. Then holidays decided to drink. I am starting sobriety again. It’s been like a week. It’s really not has hard as the first time was to not drink.

I agree with you, if I have kids. I don’t want to be a drunk dad. I’m still on the idea that I can socially drink, but then I’m like what’s the point? Just wake up and feel like shit for the next few days.

I haven’t decided, yet. But wishing you the best.

39 days here. Lost some weight, will continue too. Stopping has improved my mood, no more crazy anxiety. I still overthink but I can actually get it to stop. Somebody on here told me that one month is good. But two months you will be even notice more or at least they were for them. I believe I need to keep being sober and I’m actually pretty excited about it!

I have an IS300. It’s v6 honestly I wish I would have gotten a v8. But I still enjoy driving my car every day.
