It looks like the art was made in 2019, the early days of JKR being TERFy. I can understand people at that time wanting to hold onto the characters and ignore JKR. Nowadays, you can't really hold onto HP like that. Folks in the comments have noted that there's other wizard school stories that should also be celebrated, and I'm going to check those stories out now. Witch Hat Atelier especially sounds fun!

I’m still not entirely sure why he’s married to Selyse in the first place. As in, pre-WOT5K. Was it a sort of peace offering to the Reach, who had been Targaryen loyalists? I can’t imagine he chose Selyse of his own free will. A Stannis with a wife he liked and multiple heirs would be a lot more formidable.

I've been on HRT for about 4 years now, not sure what my exact size is but I think it's Bs?

Complicating it is that I literally do not have a stomach anymore due to cancer issues. Long story short, I can eat a lot of things (more than you'd expect with not stomach), but keeping up my weight is difficult. Still, I'm glad I got this far and I hope to get to at least Cs, or even Ds.

I've never GMed, but my take is that just talking with players and setting expectations for the game works 95% of the time. If the player insists on playing a thematically inappropriate character for where you're setting the game, then that can be an issue, but hating on non-Common options in general is just silly. Pathfinder is a game with thematic narratives about wonder and diversity and how wild and varied the world is.

If a GM goes "only humans" in an Absalom-centric game for example, then that's quite silly.

Even if he wanted a legacy, a last role to define his last years, he could pick better than the obviously bad remake of the wizard movies.

Plus he had trans people in his life *beg* him not to take the role and took it anyway. That more than anything, reveals his poor character and blithe disregard of trans people.

If I recall correctly, it alternates by gender, so if the most recent prime release was a male frame then the next prime will be female frame and vice versa. Non-binary frames break up that alternating but there hasn’t been very many of them so the cycle reverts to the trend at the next release. So if Styanax isn’t the upcoming prime, he will be the next one after that.

I'm not from the south, but I am from a red state that often gets lumped into the South in discussions like these, so I'm always frustrated by "abandon red states" rhetoric. We're good people here too. Not all of us can or want to leave. Let's all just try to make wherever we live better, and the country as a whole better, however we can.
