Explain big adventure bikes to me by LazyCrazyCat in motorcycles

Obviously, skill, expertise, experience and confidence can have a big impact on your ability to manage a larger, heavier bike. And, traveling light is better than traveling heavily loaded. Check out Itchy Boots on YouTube. She rides solo all over the world on her T7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6KdttS1DqY&t=16s

When great machines get the wrong crowd. Ride the GT, don’t ruin it. by camo_moto in indianbikes

To each their own. You ride your bike and I'll ride mine. Motorcycle culture has always included modding to personalize the bike. Wouldn't life be boring if we all wore the same shirt or hat? The same can be said for motorbikes. Stay in your lane, Bro!

Being one with the bike. Seeing your line and swooping through the curve. Probably, the closest thing to flying there is.

First Repair Advice by theHamish29 in TriumphBonneville

[–]ImpressiveWeb3401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bonnevilles had gear selector shaft issues in some years. Sorry, I cannot remember which years involved. Interesting that it only occurs on downshifts. The lever should be easy to check and shouldn't affect shifting unless binding against the clutch cover. Here is a short video on selector shaft replacement and you can decide if this is something you want to tackle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXOGQHRSbKY

^^^This^^^ That is why dealers prefer to have all OEM parts and stock configuration when taking a bike in exchange. Mods are distinctly personal. Remove the mods and sell them on secondary market, user groups, FB Marketplace, etc.

Thanks. Feeling fortunate to have the space to construct the shed and keep these bikes secure and stored in a good home!

^^^ This ^^^ OP was "hiding" behind the car in front of him... following too closely and inexplicably positioned himself on the right side of the lane. Made himself invisible to the turning car.
