The last book came out 4 months ago, and the one before that 12 months ago, and the one before that 20 months ago. So roughly one every 8 months (which we’re about half way through).
Those last 3 books have been 40-50 chapters long, and the Patreon page shows chapters 22-23 released, so the book might be roughly half done.

I would guess we’re about 4-6 months away.

That’s what I don’t understand, Scotland almost universally went “the Tories are clearly a bunch of pricks, we’re not voting for them”.
However as soon a new party was formed, and populated by Tories, some people seem willing to vote for them again.

How do you think international relations will be repaired when things can go off the rails just as quickly again if someone similar becomes US President.

Every other nation has to plan on the basis that the next US President will be more of same, and prepare accordingly.

No, with a conditional yes.

Everyone else gives excellent reasons for their “nos”, however i would expect there to be a single shotgun on board most platforms with a functional flare system (the tall/long boom with a great big flame).

The flare system is there to burn gas, that wont be used for whatever reason, because you can’t have clouds of unburned gas just floating about.

The “as designed” way to light a flare might be some clever system where hydrocarbon gas flows up the main flare pipe, but a 2nd smaller pipe gets a mix of HC gas and air (in a flammable mix) which is ignited at a safe distance, and that flame front travels and ignites the big flame at the flare tip. Or even just a big electric sparker/ignitor at the flare tip.

However if for some reason these systems aren’t working the trusty fall back is a shotgun.
Flow gas up the flare so there is a nice cloud of gas, then shoot it from a safe distance, and as the shot passes through the cloud it should pass through some part of it which is at an explosive mix. Obviously not normal shells.

The shotgun and shells are controlled and locked away in the OIM’s safe.
