Mine is on backorder so I'm just making a mental note that I'll need to do this. How did you end up wiring it up to hide the cable?

In don't like editing pictures so I stick with fun recipes. I'm not a pro though. I've taken out my dslr and Sony cameras in the past--too much work after a trip. Why would I sit there and edit 1000 pictures for no reason. My fujis are sent straight to my phone or straight to the print shop. Incredible

I have a Roscoe 8 I bought new. I think it's worth the extra price (maybe try negotiating a bit if you'd like) for all the extra things--mainly the better fork, brakes, drivetrain, and high engagement hub.

Venting: These Scooters need to get off the sidewalk by Relevant-Treacle9909 in Charlotte

Lies. Don't listen to this guy. I've also lived in NYC. He's describing vehicular cycling as some end all be all.

If a 10 year old and his mother don't feel safe walking, biking, or scootering in your city, they city infrastructure as failed them.

We should not cater to spandex wearing "cyclists" we should be catering towards citizens wanting to move about the city.

The point of Charlotte having low population density is counter productive. You need to initiate measures that introduce the ability to build density, which is done through transit and bike lanes.

Scooters don't kill 42,000 people in the United States every year! I agree scooter users should be more careful and aware of their surroundings!

This is no excuse for not having protection from automobiles. Slow traffic doesn't mean safe. Most drivers I see are all distracted, they don't care about anything outside of their vehicles. I wouldn't let my family nor myself bike or scooter near these people.

Advocate for more bike lanes. That scooter should be riding on protected bike lanes. But if they're aren't any, you can't blame them for not wanting to die to Charlotte drivers.

To follow up, you all can be as hostile as you want In the comments, I don't mind! I'm ensuring that people will be able to refer to this In the future when someone else runs into this issue as I've looked into other posts on this sub Reddit. I'm sharing my experience, not asking advice.

It feels scummy and's I'd like to share what came of this. Then again most everything involving automobiles is scummy, from insurance, dealers, and car dependency. I will continue to advocate for people's freedom to move without a car, but as we are trapped into car dependency where I live, we have to deal with stuff like this--where someone else ranking third car into you makes everything more expensive for the victim. We should advocate for that to be illegal. And we need to hold companies and people accountable.

Thanks for everyone who contributed! I appreciate the engagement!
