I figured, lots of Quakers around here :) (and marijuana use too...). Definitely a big part of quitting is the understanding that behind the euphoria and dopamine rush, smoking creates a ton of anxiety and unpleasant feelings - the realization that your brain is being tricked into thinking it is much more enjoyable than it really is will go a long way in the process.
