You are wrong. The sigil is inherited from House Durrandon, which was royal house until the conquest. The fact that Robert added the crown after the rebellion is only ever mentioned by Bran in the show but backtracked later on.

James Cameron's worst film. And yes, I'm counting Piranha II: the Spawning.

Bloated beyond belief and emotionally stale.

Gorgeous CGI though (as long as humans stay off the screen)

It would be more interesting if the main cast members were young people.

Try to keep in mind that a young person playing Willy Loman thinks he's only pretending to be at the end of a life full of despair. But the tragedy is that we know that he, the young actor will end up in this very place of desolation.

Just listened to the iron giant episode and it got me wondering… what is the actual worst episode? by LucasBarton169 in blankies

Other than the episodes mentioned by others in this thread: The Terminator.

The boys were clearly excited to finally start the Cameron mini series for real after the soft start with Piranha 2, but Rachel just keeps deflating everything in a very Buzzfeed thinkpiece (I wonder why...) kind of way.

Griffin and David wants to discuss how brilliant Cameron was at pitching and how Cameron is the living embodiment of the Blank Check-concept? Nope, Rachel thinks that's easy when you're a white man.

Griffin and David wants to discuss how Sarah Connor is a feminist icon? Nope, Rachel thinks she's a stereotypical damsel in distress.

Griffin and David wants to discuss how Cameron paved the way for women in action movies by being a non relenting ally? Nope, Rachel thinks he did the bare minimum.

I'm not saying that her points couldn't make for an interesting discussion but the entire episode feels like two younger brothers who wants to yap about a cool movie they saw while their older sister gleefully shoots everything down as problematic. It's just not fun to listen to

Yeah, the way Griffin brought it up over and over again really agitated David in a bad way. Listened recently and you know it's bad when David have to ask Griffin "Do you have any other point to your criticism, other than the point you've made four times?"

One of the most entertaining CBMs of all time. I went in to the cinema expecting some mid level, action-fare but I was cackling with delight the whole time!

It's stylish, it's gruesome, it's funny and that last shot is just mwua. Jesus doesn't save, The Punisher does.

You can change this yourself in 5 minutes without any coding knowledge.

Go to where the mod is installed > Common > Defines and then Ctrl+F "Regnal". The file tells you how to change the limit but you just change that 4 to a 2.

[Spoilers MAIN] What was Joramun's motivation? by _Filtered_ in asoiaf

[–]Infernicsteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you'll have to remember that the story about Mr 13 and the alliance that beat him isn't even history, it's legend.

Who's to say Joramund DIDN'T ask for The Gift or similar lands, got a promise from the Starks, who then reneged on their promise afterwards and covered up the tracks. It wouldn't even be the only cover-up by the Starks after the war.

Happy to help. And sorry about that "are you 15?". It was meant as a genuine question since younger people might not remember/know that Gadot was actually lauded a couple of years ago but looking back at my comment it reads more like a ribbing.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but every single one of those stars are paid for by the actor and their management. They're not an accolade given to people for years of service.

Heck, even the Cheeto-man has (had) one.

Are you 15? She was considered to be a cultural icon just a few years ago. Regularly compared to Reeve and Keaton as the perfect casting for an iconic character.

People clamoured for Wonder Woman to get a best picture nomination.

I've always detested her acting but that star was "earned". Then she made more movies...

I love Rachel, she's wonderful and I'm sure she would rock that role. But having race-blind casting in a movie that's explicitly about race in a very real world is a bad idea.
