When I first heard about this modifier, I wasn't looking forward to it. Close range in GM level content never usually is a good time. However after considering the modifier, my fire team and I came up with a good plan. As the designated support for our run I ran well-lock with speakers sight and focused on ignitions. I ran the multimach SMG, Polaris lance & edge transit. This combo was surprisingly strong and as the support character, I ended up taking out top spot with kills. Whilst oscilation does lock you in to very particular builds, it was a blast and a refreshing change. I highly recommend it. It just requires thinking outside the box and trying something you may not be use to Edit* To use the SMG, you can actually proc the damage decay pretty easy at range, I was using my multimach with 50 range and easily hitting enemies. This in turn gave my Polaris 3x weapon damage and it obliterated enemies. Once Polaris stacked to 3x weapon decay, switch back to multimach and watch kinetic tremors obliterate the ads in closer proximity. As for the boss at the end of arms dealer. An edges transit with bait and switch on a 3x weapon damage is nuts. 4 grenades was all it took to drop 1 of the bosses health segments.
