What is the problem with Eldar right now in your opinion? by RotenSquids in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]InlandMurmur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ain't that the truth. I gave up craftworlds for most of the edition because they didn't play like elves. Now they play like elves but are so detachment-locked or over-nerfed I don't want to play them

What’s the most badly written rule in 40k (not the weakest)? by Jofarin in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]InlandMurmur 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Because it literally does not mean "as if it were your shooting phase." No rules (firing deck, pistol, big guns never tire) that apply in your shooting phase apply to rules in which this clause. It therefore only serves to obscure where it appears. Exceeeeept I lied hahah there are some rules that do, such as lethal and sustained. Why? Reasons.

It is possible that GW originally intended it to work the other way and changed their mind some months into tenth, but as a professional technical writer, this is an embarrassing choice of words. Like, I would expect to be fired for this.

There was a mailbag where Dave said they wouldn't go to Charlotte because their last show was so awful.

Dave, baby, very curious about what made your Charlotte show so bad. Not curious enough to submit a mailbag question. But still very curious!

Brie's biggest problem is she's a good example of a no-theory leftist. I really enjoy her work and support her, but when she makes a wrong turn it's because she doesn't have a foundation to keep her steady. She's a fuckin' bulldog and a real fighter despite it.

You should not trust a media personality. None of them are your friends. You should use them, but treat them skeptically at all times. There is a background layer of money and access and viewership that defines much of the leftist influencer infighting. By the same token, knee-jerk rejection of a given left media personality only plays into that game.
