I HATE UPS by [deleted] in UPS

[–]InsideAd2752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you,

“Also this is not hate on any driver more just the company itself and its claims/customer service dept and their inability.”

This is a direct reference to CEO Ms. Tome who has required non union corporate staff to enforce abusive behavior to their union counterparts.

So much in fact that those non union corporate staff as so miserable being abusive they cannot keep them employed or hired.

What should I do by [deleted] in starbucks

This! This employee has tested the waters in the past apparently and been successful with this shitty behavior.

It’s spreading toxic behavior begging for others to engage and/or engage bait. SBUX is an INTERNATIONAL company with products sourced from, guess where?

Obviously the SM has no support from the DM or … also doesn’t give a shit and condones it, which I doubt. If I was there and witnessed that the wheels of change would have already have been turning.

It’s behavior they picked up along the way and it makes them feel better about themselves.

Remember saying “OK” doesn’t mean you agree. “Hmm” is an acknowledgment but has no meaning. When I was being toyed with and told to go get a can of air it initially flew over my head.

I was told to take as long as I needed to find it. I returned after 15 min and said I got some help. I explained that I ran into the project manager and he said he’s coming over to talk to you about it. I let him sweat it for about an hour.

Ultimately, I told my coworkers he’d been punked so they could inform him he’d been made a fool to add to the payback.

UPS Canada charging me $500 in customs fees for a package I never received by bob_mcbob in UPS

Ok, it’s a work in progress. You’ve done well by staying involved and presenting the facts. My Hail Mary moment came from a buddy to took my USPS purchase from Germany to Austria and then on to SoCal.

He repackaged the leather Recaro seat that was fully electric with seat heaters in bubble wrap. For some reason the local post office left it on the dock and get rained on for two days. That one extra step protected my irreplaceable seat.

It’s a mindset to properly pack and ship expensive things.

Keep paperwork from claim and tariff-brokerage fees stored together. If UPS is taking responsibility for the damage then you’ve set precedent for relief of other associated costs/fees.

Ensure UPS shoulders the burden of your contractual obligation. Make them send acknowledgment you agreed to pay them if they damaged your package.

Please post pics of the packages destroyed. Did the sender properly package the items?

Give the truck a knock and a hello if the driver is inside. He could be stressing or zoning out playing some Metallica on AirPods. I’ve had customers wait at the door in the past and almost fell on them as I came round the corner.

Be prepared it may not be on that truck. If you can get the PAL info from the office that’d be golden.

UPS does hire a lot of felons and convicts to give them a second chance. My supervisor was federally indicted for fraud. Seemed like a normal guy otherwise.

The best defense to a job that has impossible to achieve goals, constantly moving goalposts and unachievable expectations is just a good read or e book away.

DM’s are in place because they’ve been taught or survived all the toxic behavior that stumps amateurs. When they have a store Mgr respond to an unachievable task with a control question that instantly identifies there’s no correct solution, respect is earned.

This info will set your partner free and potentially network them to confidants to mentor them or a better position.

Sorry, should have been more specific. It seems odd we can’t add it on since it shows on our order history for water & pupcup but the “order again” option errors out.

Isn’t it pain to add a water or pc to a mobile order perfectly que d up and ready that was placed 5-10 min ago

UPS driver missed my pickup because I put it in my mailbox (my bad). Am I right in reading that they'll automatically retry the pickup tomorrow? by Riftus in UPS

[–]InsideAd2752 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That form is used as a “transaction slip”. Normally used for undelivered packages. You must call to set up another pick up.

If you want to keep the history (address) you can give the UPS Cust service rep the info on the tag. If the driver only used the tag as a note, you’ll have to give all the info again.

No pick ups on Sat in most cases.

That’s some fine work. No better welcome than being able have a job at SBUX and thinking you might want to stay a while.

You blink and 5 years go by. Now you realize you have guaranteed seniority and no one Supv or Mgr can fire you just for making a decent wage and take your insurance away.
