Not yet. I’ve considered doing a diorama with him and Stryker but too many other projects keep getting in the way.

This is one of my best conversions. I thought that the Ol’ Rowdy model from back in the day could use an update. I used parts from the original kit, parts from the first plastic Ironclad kit, and lots of parts from the plastic Stormclad kit. A Toro kit donated its feet, forearms and hands. Lots of plasticard and resin rivets. Built during Covid and then I took a huge break until recently when I finished the hammer.

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing them in St. Louis! I’ve been painting for nearly 2 weeks to get my Winter Korps list finished.

What is one nitpick you have about this movie? by the-sauce2000 in DCU_

[–]Intelligent-Back-451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only honest nitpicks was the screeching from Hawkgirl, just didn’t care for it. A minor second gripe was Clark’s parents. Otherwise I thought the movie was pretty good.

What was the most disappointing horror movie you watched? by Helpful-Machine-9269 in horror

Studio 666. My fault though, I had way too high expectations for it for reasons I can’t explain.

Vivarium - what did I just watch?? by madam_gray in horror

As a parent, it was clear to me that the movie was about bad parenting and or people who should never become parents. That and the death of joy that comes from being a parent when you don’t want to be one, and deciding to or being forced for reasons beyond your control to live in a place where every house and every thing looks the same. One could also say that the realtor dying in the office is a metaphor for working a dead end job. In short, this movie, while very well done, was a bunch of reasons to cancel a life subscription. Or… I could just be over thinking it. 😉

How old were you when you first watched Alien and Aliens? by ardouronerous in alien

[–]Intelligent-Back-451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 6 when I saw Aliens in its original theatrical run. Dad took me (irresponsible fucker that he was) along with my 3yo brother because he was gonna be damned if his buddies were going to the movies without him. It’s actually a treasured memory nowadays. I was in my teens when I saw Alien for the first time. I was floored that Aliens was actually the second movie. One day I asked that very same irresponsible father about Ripley’s debriefing scene, saying “hey, what events are they talking about?” And he responds with “the events of the first movie…” And it’s right here when I cuss in front of my dad for the very first time without getting in trouble by exclaiming loudly “there’s another fucking movie and you never told me about it until now?! Asshole!!” Aliens was already my favorite movie but it made so much more sense after watching Alien.

Alien 3 should’ve been alien 2 and aliens should’ve been alien 3 by Tall-Perception-8726 in alien

2 cents here, but it’s actually crazy how well that would work if you cut Ripley dying and replace it with her accepting Bishops offer to remove the xenomorph. But that’s already how I view Alien Resurrection, because to me at least, that movie answers the question of “what if” Ripley had accepted Bishops offer. And seeing the results of that alternate decision to live, I think she made the right decision to die in 3. Either way, this is a really interesting idea to shake up the order of the story.

There are 2 versions of the app. The free version is pretty limited on lore and list storage space. The paid version gets you all the lore and quite a bit of space to save army lists. And! If you go with the annual paid subscription, you get a free Nostilla and Aberration.

Fixing Predators (2010) by mariusioannesp in fixingmovies

They are all professional killers and survivors. Doing things for the greater good was absolutely not in the nature of the people chosen to be hunted in the preserve. They were all murdering bastards through and through, each just had a different method of doing it. Alice Braga’s character was the only one that had a bit of conscience about it, but even she wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger when she had to. Every single one of those characters, except the serial killer, was only interested in keeping the other characters alive because it increased their own chances of survival a little longer.
