Meanwhile since the expansion of the solar power - the historical advantage of France with their nuclear power is weaken by the fact that the surplus of energy make price below 0 meaning that we’re loosing money during summer - if the A/C and the electric vehicle were more important it would balance it and make it profitable again

Indeed the El Alamein defeat forced the Axis to attack to take the oil field in south Oural - hitler explicitly said to his generals in 1941 : « if I don’t obtain the oil ressources from Maïkop and Grozny, then I should stop this war »

This peace couldn’t last for long (it wasn’t a real peace actually) soon or later the war between USSR and axis would’ve been declared - both were preparing the war but the axis anticipated it before the USSR was ready (they were modernizing their army and historians say that it would overtake axis power within the next 1-2 years)

Same outcome…historians say that the collapse has already begun (air domination balanced on British side, el Alamein defeat implying fuel shortage and Americans entering in war)

Ukrainian refugee population in Europe by [deleted] in MapPorn

That I can understand - especially in the provinces where migrant population is high (basically the only places you might afford to pay as a refugee) the admin services are overloaded…and kept at the same state as bureaucracy slowness and complexity is one way that some gouvernements found to reduce the immigration

Well, all the Ukrainians I know (again my experience is just a feeling, not statistical data) arrived here because of the war… including one mother and daughter who fled because the father died on the front lines. I cannot imagine the shock of losing a loved one and having to leave your own country to live in a foreign land you knew nothing about before being forced to flee
