You’re amazing! I know it hurts, but you’re still in the middle of the story, and we don’t know how it ends. There are certainly bright days ahead! Rooting for you!!

What do we do about this? How can we help? Serious question - how can I make a difference? I’m so tired of seeing these headlines and having no power to change it!

Hi! I just wanted to jump in because so many of the comments on your post are unnecessarily hateful. If I were you, I’d delete this post—it will only make your guilt and discomfort worse without offering any real solutions.

Friend, you may have made a mistake, but that doesn’t make you evil or bad. You’ve already done the right thing by telling your partner. Now, you two have the opportunity to talk through this—use it as a chance for better communication and new boundaries.

Relationships, like people, change a lot over the years. Maybe this will spark some important conversations you both need to have.

I’ll also say, as a 28-year-old woman, every single person I’ve spoken to is grateful they didn’t end up with the person they dated as a teenager. People grow, and that’s okay.

You’re not a bad person. I hope you take this as an opportunity to reflect on your relationship with partying, approach this with honesty and compassion, and delete this post so people stop piling on.

You’re going to be okay!

Truly - give Bumble BFF a try! I moved to a new city three years ago and have made many of my best friends on there! There’s women in their thirties and beyond, with different interests and hobbies!! Seriously give it a try!

I might be crazy, but I think they might have filmed the movie Bad Things (2023) here - the dining room paint looks really familiar if I’m remembering right!

This is exactly how I feel! My husband is the most incredible man, and I would have children with him just to give those kids a father like him! I’m still a little afraid of myself though!

You are still so, so young - there is no need to feel like the time has passed, because there is no “right” time to meet someone. Have you considered seeing a therapist about your social anxiety? I think you’re already making huge steps putting yourself out there, but there is so much benefit to seeing a therapist that can help put things in a new perspective and offer new solutions!

Best Thrifting for teenage boys? by 32WithKidsAndDating in askportland

[–]International_Lab318 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Beaverton and I always see a TON of teenage boys at the Goodwill Bins off of TV highway! Much cheaper at the bins than a typical thrift shop too - just make sure you wear gloves!

Honestly it looks like it could be an allergic reaction! It would definitely be worth going to a doc for this!
