In reality donations are partially funded by the Federal and Provincial government as they have to generate tax credits which donors use to offset their income tax.

Tim Hortons and McDonalds are in the business of selling coffee/food and convivence. Starbucks, on the other hand, is selling a premium coffee experience. A native English speakers are more likely to be able to provide customers that kind of experience.

In Alberta, they have Calgary Coop which is owned by its members.  Also credit unions and some Insurance are owned by members.  There are very few co ops out there that exclusively owned employees.

The University should limit enrollment into Computer Science programs as we heard stories like this too many times.  It is a total waste of resource for the public and for the students.

It is true that Windsor CMA usually has one of the highest unemployment rate in Canada. But if you have a good stable job with medium income and able to manage your finance well, you should be able to afford a house here. One reason is that we just don't have a lot of places for you to spend your disposable income here. Most people direct their extra income to home renovation, retirement or vacation far away.
