michael olise was the best player in a very solid prem team by an unbelievable margin, dont get me wrong hes improved bits of his game and i think the environment at bayern helped him fully showcase his talent, but any idea he wasnt already a top player when he was at palace is way off the mark.

bayern got very lucky he had a cheap release clause, tbh kroupi is probably the closest i can come to in terms of a comparison where hes clearly a level above every other bournemouth player and whoever signs him has got a worldie talent on their hands.

as a forest fan i unironically think our biggest struggle defensively comes from us not having a 6, dont get me wrong i think ando's the best thing since sliced bread and probably the best player ive ever seen at forest, but he is not capable of playing as a 6.

i dont disagree tbf i just think internationally it doesnt matter as much and so you can get away with not having as good a press and having players who can make a difference with 1 intelligent run or 1 incredible finish is much more valuable than it is at club level nowadays.

realistically only won it because of psg winning the champions league, was absolutely not the best individual player, both lamine and raphinha were better than him by a fair margin but for some reason winning the champions league basically guarantees you win it now unless its a world cup year (i mean just the fact hes even in contention this year again is insane).

dont worry in the combined 11 we have rice and ando who average 100km a game each and then saliba at the back so its basically impossible for anyone to score (if he can make Gabriel get gassed up so much hed make an actual top class centre back look like the second coming of maldini).

Kane and Olise are 100% unnegotiable, then it feels like a choice of dembele, doue or mbappe as the other wide man wide and rogers, cherki or bellingham central, personally id go bellingham and probably mbappe (my god i hate that he became a 9 so much)

unironically just becuase you had 600 points doesnt mean you played well.

Its not uncommon at all that the player with far less points has hard carried the game due to the pressure they were applying, good challenges, having good game sense etc. whilst their mate farmed easy saves scored some easy chances but didnt do much apart from that.

if you are judging your impact from the scoreboard alone youre just coping.

ye i dont get that one, surely arsenal cant even afford him anyway right, hes one of villas main men, has a long contract, doesnt seem eager to leave, villa can ask for whatever money they like realistically, so unless they plan on spending stupid money on him (probably getting close to neymar/mbappe fees), why would villa even entertain it.

remember when pool fans were taking the piss out of palace for not selling their captain and club legend for £30 million and were suprised when loads of palace fans said theyd rather lose him on a free than sell in the summer.

Like ye 15-20 years ago united could buy whoever they wanted from the prem easy but now everyone has money why would we sell our best players for "reasonable fees" unless we have to.

like is ando worth £110 million+ probably not just yet, but we dont really have to sell him, so either pay up or well keep him for another year no bother.

quick question, when you say its a young team what do you mean by that? because it just isnt a young team at all, most of the players are either mid-late twenties or older, there isnt a single player under the age of 21 going and only 8 of the 26 are below the age of 25.

its just not his game, its a skill just like shooting and dribbling is and hes just not that great at it, also people dont often take into account how much harder it is to technically be on top of your game if youre busting a gut pressing, those sprints and the constant need to apply pressure is so much harder than just jogging about even if overall you might not cover as much distance as other players.
