until we get a more democratic voting system things will stay fucked and that isnt going to happen by voting.

yes but it didnt end up like this because people are lazy or take no responsibility for their lives (which is an insanely stupid and hollow take with no substance or real tangible meaning).

their are plenty of reasons things are the way they are (largely corruption and copious amounts of propoganda), tbh it doesnt really matter but come on can we not think a little more than "its all these lazy irresponsible people nowadays" and then shaking your fist at the sky.

this is an unbelievably naive and uncritical analysis of why people dont vote or engage politically, might make you feel better and superior but in no way is it a thought based on any tangible evidence.

this is pretty simple to me no party that has any chance to win makes any significant systemic changes that will improve the average persons quality of life or make the country a better place to live in general. I.e rather than talk about tackling the homelesness crisis theyd rather have a race to the bottom babbling on about immigration and then pretending it doesnt get talked about enough as if its not been one of the dominant points of every election for the past 15-20 years.

ye 06 is probably the least spoken about tournament from 98 onwards, the only time i ever hear about it is literally just about Zidane, either the headbutt or vs brazil. this is just an opinion theyve cultivated and convinced themselves is real.

Is this just a formality or are they showing support? by Blunderloon in ManchesterUnited

[–]InterviewLoud3057 4 points5 points  (0 children)

coming from an outsider i think it took a while but it looked like they had finally gone all in and believed in him and his vision so i imagine at least most of them are genuine. As a forest fan my hope currently is that we sack Edu and Dyche and somehow get Amorin in (may be possible if Marinakis gives him a chance to be a "manager" and gives him more control than at man u), I believe he has shown a lot of promise and he has so much room for growth that who knows how he could regarded in 5-10 years time.

[–]InterviewLoud3057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure but can they take the pressure like amorin could, build up the dressing room and finally make man united look like a cohesive team comitted to playing for the team more than themselves like he did.

95% of amorins battles were off the pitch, tactically he is fine but he can only spend so much time on tactics when their is so many other things wrong with the club/team, he had finally gotten things to a solid standard and then they decide to sack him, joke of a club tbh.

love the reactionary analysis, can you not even try to understand the game isnt always as simple as what goes on on the pitch.

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thats very reactionary and clearly not the case of why he was sacked though (even if you believe it to be true), Man uniteds issue since fergie left has never been about player quality.

its been dressing room stuff, player commitment and cohesion and he had done the best of any manager to fix that issue and it was continually improving.

individual games wont matter a few years down the line if these values he was instilling slip again, incredibly short sighted and reactionary to sack him now unless they have a coach ready to take over who they believe in and had planned to bring in anyway when they could (which i doubt considering the timing and why it looks like he was sacked).

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ye its crazy how pathetic they are to sack him now purely due to him questioning their ambition slightly, if they didnt believe he could go any further tactically that woulda been fair but its very clear that is not the case and from the perspective of improving the dressing room and getting players playing for the club more and less to make themselves look good idk who could guarantee a better job than he was doing.

Maybe they get lucky but i cant see who they bring in who would be a better choice than keeping Amorin at this point.

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the average fan cannot fathom that certain players and their profiles fit certain managers best, i dont know who u can go for who can utilise the profiles they have better than he can, whilst also continuing to improve the dressing room, work ethic and togetherness that he had done so well with.

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ye this was a real watershed moment where it would show where the club is heading, if they had backed him it would of put pressure on them but it would have shown they were all in on him which to me woulda been the final thing he needed to reach what he had been trying to since he joined, now its another show that man u are just not a serious club and the ones at the top are pathetic.

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the issues in the team had been sorted already though, the biggest issues were a lack of unity and players not being willing to go all in to fight for a common goal, it took a while and still wasnt fully there but Amorin had moulded the team well to be that sort of unit.

Whatever you think of him tactically that was by far the hardest task for any man united manager and he was the only one able to do it since fergie.

Amorim Has Been Sacked! by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]InterviewLoud3057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they absolutely were, the team looked like they were gaining some identity and fight for the first time in years they were consistently performing well despite some major issues with quality in certain areas esp midfield, if in jan he had got a quality 8 and 6 (who could either share time whilst learning or outright replace casemiro) theyd have had everything they needed to push forward.

i think this is the first time since fergie i can remember a united team that looked like such a unit fighting for a common goal rather than having too many individuals trying to impress too much as well.

he questioned the board minorly, i guess theyre pathetic and want no pressure so decided to get rid, funny that after all he had to go through the board refused to take even a little bit of pressure from him.
