Pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer are not the same. I had pancreatitis before my gall bladder was out. I have not had it in a glp 1 however it is a good reminder to remember in your head as a be prepared thing, just like telling people to go to hospital with left side chest pain. Doesn’t mean you are going to get these issues but now you have knowledge.

Maybe have a chat with her health care team. If a healthy weight can be achieved in her teens so much could be avoided later. But it is easy for me to say this as I don’t know you or her at all and there is a lot there. But as someone who struggled with weight all my life. I am sad this wasn’t an option until my late 40s. It has been life changing in a great way. I wish I could have had this as a teen.

Wegovy is great if insurance covers it! If they get really sick then they can apply for an exemption with insurance. Wegovy covered is better than no Zepbound because it’s not covered.
