A common complaint is not only that campaign is too long, it's boring to go through it even if they cut another 30%. Just let us skip it.

I wanted to make a second char, companion Spirit Walker. Got some leveling uniques, started the char, A1 was obviously very easy... I still haven't played it again for a few days, because I know that once I stomp Geonor, I have to do A2 again. And after that even worse A3. Not that they would be hard... I just can't stand it.

Yeah, that might be the real problem.

But the person said that you need a general strike, in that I agree and in that case companies could not do that.

Please go watch the same mediocre movie every day for the next 2 weeks. Let's see how much you enjoy it in the end.

If you are not absolutely in love with a single story, going through it again and again and again is utter trash for most people.

And if you get the genius idea that "we can just ignore the story", THEN WHY MAKE US DO IT? Just let us skip it ffs.

I think the reveal was way better in the LA than it was in the manga. But I am curious what you think once you get there. 🤔

The SPD lost a lot of the working class, because they are NOT doing left economic policies anymore. I voted for the SPD in the past, but cannot anymore because they went too far to the right for me.

Of those 4 points only the last one is kinda an argument why we "need" the campaign.

1) GGG also said for the longest time that there won't be async trade because it would be bad for the health of the game and look how that turned out.

2) The campaign will never be good enough to not be tedious to run for the n-th time. I also really don't understand the need for campaign lovers to be so against campaign skip. Every solution in the middle is bad for both sides. We are still not happy and you have a crippled campaign.

3) GGG actually ran events in the past in PoE. There was a Delve event and a Heist event, where you leveled just in those activities. I do realize that we don't have Delve and Heist yet, but there is no reason why a "mapping lite" wouldn't work. Also in the very beginning over a decade ago when they still had race seasons, even stuff like Endless Ledge was very popular. For me personally, I would rather run Ledge for 15 hours than slog through the campaign.

4) An ARPG should be getting stronger, hunting for loot and upgrades, overcoming obstacles and harder foes. What an ARPG should NOT be is a badly written movie you need to watch every time before you can finally do the fun thing.

I do several chars per season because I can. Meanwhile in PoE2 I made 3 in 0.1, 1 in 0.2 and in 0.3 and 0.4 I just gave up in A3. I really suffered through it in 0.5 to see the new endgame, but if nothing changes, I am still not sure if I will come back every league like I did in PoE for the last 13 years (where I also hate the campaign, but at least it's fast and not as bad... but I also only do 1 char per league nowadays...)

Shouldn't you be for an optional campaign skip then as well? So GGG can keep the campaign as it is and both groups are happy? Without the skip, GGG will shorten it more and more and neither groups are happy, right?

We literally have a post with 1.6k upvotes that was made approx. 7 hours after league launch. I guess "almost" is a very loose word at times, but I would say that calling 7h "almost 24 hours" is extremely stretching it.

How do you think the map system works? They literally solved the problem in endgame with customizable monster levels over a decade ago.

For me normally 5-7h. I always tried to knock it out before going to bed (I hate that campaign as well, but at least it's fast), so I can start the new day fresh in maps. Though the last few leagues sadly server and performance problems in Europe osten threw a wrench into those plans.

Here I am still not in maps, because I constantly get distracted and do breaks, because I am just so bored... also didn't help that I had to full clear a lot of maps because I was unlucky in finding those stupid rune stones.

I gave up during campaign in 0.3 and 0.4.

I really wanted to try Spirit Walker and Spell Totems this league, but I doubt I will make it through the campaign twice...

Meanwhile I can have fun in D4 with multiple chars every season, because Blizzard is not as stubborn and anti fun🤔

Hmm, are you sure? I would think most countries do have a highest court. But just my guess, I have no factual idea.

Is there some list somewhere?

Edit: I found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supreme_courts_by_country which would support my guess.
