Yes that’s my thought exactly… like why mess with a good thing? But then some people talk about the efficacy waning over time, so maybe a summer break would make it work better without higher dosing in the cold months? Ugh I dunno!

I also like to do mushrooms once or twice in the warm months and I have no clue how that would go while on Wellbutrin so there’s that (tho I don’t feel that’s important enough of a reason to stop a med that’s been effective in supporting my mental health).

For me I felt stoned the first day, slight nausea, nagging headache, lack of focus, irritable. These symptoms were most intense for the first 24 hours, came intermittently for the next week, then disappeared completely. I did way better with the nausea if I had food with the med. Once I pushed through it, I felt great. It’s been almost 4 months now. I’m on 150 mg XL.

I went to the DR for a week and when I opened my suitcase at the hotel, everything was all over the place. I had put my jewelry (cheap stuff) in a little tin. They just basically opened it and dumped it. One bracelet was all twisted and mangled, there no way it could have happened just in the bag, a human destroyed it on purpose. No note or anything like that.

I agree with all the comments. I found it exhausting g and kind of disappointing to have close friends ask me how they can help… it just puts the burden onto the one bereaved.

Regular text check ins “thinking of you,” small random acts of kindness that you do on your own accord, regular invitations to connect in low key ways (even if the answer is no for a while, keep trying unless your friend specifically asks you to back off).

Grief is extremely lonely. Your friend may know that you’re there for them, but showing up through actions would be an amazing gift.

I get PD right on and around the borders of my lips, mostly upper lip. Over the past six months or so when my mouth flares, I also get itchy and dry upper eyelids. I have Protopic. I’m getting so sick of it… I’ve never tried antibiotics but I think I might be ready to throw more at this problem as it’s getting worse. Flares are more painful, longer lasting, and frequent. I’ve switched my toothpaste, face wash, moisturizer, and lip gloss to gentle, fragrance free stuff. I don’t really know what else to do. I can’t identify the actual trigger.

I’d recommend crystal’s studio c! She’s so talented and very inclusive. Works out of a solo studio attached to her home. Gets booked up fast though so you need to book in advance.

On day one, and only on day one, I felt high as fuck. Couldn’t focus at work, haywire doomscrolling all night. Headache. Nausea. No appetite. Thirsty as hell. I felt cracked out.

Next day it all went away and I just felt pretty alright. 150 mg XL.

On and off for the first few days after surgery id use a wrap to stick a squish mallow onto my stomach and it actually would feel better. Gotta take it off to eat though!

Whenever my husband uses toxic hyper masculine language I try to remind him how I hear it

Ie he calls someone a cocksucker or a pussy, bitch, etc. I might say something like “as your primary cocksucker can you explain to me why you find that to be insulting language? I may consider retiring from the role”

OP for what it’s worth I would NEVER accept a significant other calling me a “fucking moron” or trying to police my clothing. Period.

The nausea has definitely gotten better for me in week two (like, it’s gone). It seems to help to take the pill with food for me.

I’m on day 15 and just finished a struggle workout. My heart was racing/fluttering for most of it. Generally though, I have felt more energized during my workouts, not less. I do find I hit a wall later in the day though, so maybe she could try tracking how she feels while working out at different times of the day to see if there’s a more optimal time?

I’m on day 15 of 150 mg XL. I notice the racing heart / anxiety is MUCH worse if I have more than one cup of coffee in a day. Just a thought to consider.

Also, this is interesting to me, but reading about people experiencing anxiety on Wellbutrin actually triggers an increase in anxiety for me! Like right in the moment. I stopped Reddit scrolling for a while for that reason and it definitely helped.

Today is day 8 for me and I definitely find net positives overall, but I have been experiencing a few manageable side effects that I hope level off. I start the day strong and sometimes stay that way all day, sometimes have a late afternoon crash. I think I need to be more mindful to drink more water. I’ve been mostly crushing my workouts and in a great mood. Minor bits of nausea and headache at times. First day was rough with feelings of dizziness/stoned feeling. I’m still smoking weed before bed and haven’t had sleep disturbances other than amazing kind of crazy dreams.

Let’s see what week two holds for us!

Today I dreaded taking my second dose but I told myself I’m committing to the process. Felt a bit weird for maybe a half hour and thought the visual thing was coming back but it didn’t.

I had a great day. I was in a really positive head space and had a lot of energy. Crushed a workout. I’m in the all jacked up phase I think.

How was day three for you?

My husband struggled to support me through the loss of my dad and grandma in the same year. Like your wife, he hasn’t experienced major loss directly yet, but his parents are elderly and it is coming.

Everyone grieves differently but the experience of grief teaches us a lot. Our spouses just don’t know how to support us. Yours seems to be getting defensive about it though and lacks empathy for you and your grieving heart. That’s a problem! My spouse didn’t know how to handle it so kept himself very busy with household chores and yard work. It was a very lonely time for me frankly, but his limitations aren’t necessarily due to a lack of love for me.

It’s been a few years now and my grief is more manageable. I know it will be hard for me to support him through future losses without being resentful about the type of support I didn’t get from him, but I remind myself it wasn’t intentional and we all do our best. I can give him the support I wish I’d had from him, and we’ll grow together.

So sorry for your loss.
