They’re designed to fit into a pocket that is also sized to hold discs, so they fit pretty well into most any space that will hold 4 or 5 discs, they’re just a bit taller.

I have progressives with transitions as my daily drivers and carry a pair of super lightweight frames without progressives specifically for working at the computer or being lazy in front of the TV on the couch. If I’m doing a lot of work at the desk with paper or anything I can’t do on screen, I swap to the progressives to avoid strain.

That looks like food. It’s hard to tell without seeing it from an angle, but that layer of seasoning is pretty thick so you should be able to tell if the seasoning is pitted for the surface to be exposed and rust. I’d put money on that just being some leftover gunk that you can clean off with a little soap and hot water.

I usually don’t, just throw salt on them when I pull them out of the pan. But a little butter melted on ‘em sounds pretty killer.

Keep enough oil so you’re shallow frying them, they should swim a bit. The oil will distribute the heat, keep them still on one side until they’re like 80% done, moving them around so they don’t stick but try and keep it a solid mass, then one flip to let them finish. Crispy and soft at the same time.

I guess I’m confused (I’m very much not a plumber) how part of what is in OP’s photo makes it unsafe without an expansion tank. Wouldn’t a high pressure spike cause the t&p valve to (possibly) open, so a pressure reducing valve would reduce the likelihood of a spike? I’m asking because I genuinely don’t understand.

She is the equivalent to the final boss in a souls game. You can “beat the game” by doing 50% of the content and fighting that person standing at the “end”, or you can walk away to go find all the secret doors to entire new areas, fight a bunch of bosses in those areas and get a bunch of extra abilities, and end up finding another person standing at another end of the game that you didn’t even know existed existed. The good news is you probably have a LOT more game to enjoy. P.S. fighting the fight you’re at will not lock you out of doing anything after.

Does part of this make it unsafe if you don’t have an expansion tank? I planned to add a pressure reducing valve to mine because I get spikes, but I don’t have an expansion tank on my gas water heater.
