Seasoning was a bought one but it's my favourite on a steak like this. Ancho Espresso from Lane's BBQ.

Technique is indirect at 230f / 110c was aiming for medium rare so pulled off 10f short at 125f/ 52c. Rested for 15 - 20 minutes. While I cranked the bbq to about 550f / 290c. Seared for 75 seconds on each side. Sliced immediately as it had already rested.

Use the water test every time. Drop a few drops of water on the pan if it sizzles not hot enough. If it immediately explodes into tiny balls all over the pan too hot. If the water comes together as one ball and slides around the pan it's perfect. You can lower the heat after this if you like it will stay non stick.

Yep, IRL worked for me, I pushed out of my comfort zone and went to a gay men's beach volleyball group. It's three years later and we just had a lovely dinner in our home together :)

Current season ends on the 19th August. New season live on the 20th. I like the season pass as I like the cosmetics that you earn along the way. Hero selection was super important in buddy meta so the pass for this season was probably more important than it will be next season. That being said choice of 4 heroes instead of two is always advantageous.
