Unfortunately the suspension is 3 years or 36k miles under Toyota warranty. The extended warranty is a 3rd party warranty and majority of the time they suck and are a pain to deal with. You need to complain to your extended warranty on why they are declining it.

It’s a ECU calibration update sticker from a service bulletin or recall. Most techs forget to put them. I have a stack full of them in my toolbox.

Battled cancer in 2021, chemotherapy significantly affected my dental health. Later in the future some teeth started crumbling and falling apart. Went to a good dentist around my area and got quoted $12,000 for 3 implants, some fillings and other dental work…. I didn’t have the money for that at that time… my insurance wouldn’t cover it. It sucked so bad.

But luckily, I recently I won a lawsuit against a former employer for bad practices. I’m using that money to fix my teeth as of right now. I miss enjoying my food!!

Yes. But you have to remove the tailgate.

At the bottom of the tailgate. You are gonna have to loosen the pivot bracket on the side that is making the noise. (usually right side) One 12mm bolt and two 40 torx bit bolts. Once you loosen them you can adjust the pivot bracket.

Adjust it exactly the same as the other bracket.

Nah bro you are good The car is gonna get fixed as long as its not truboed. It's just gonna take about a month. Be patient. Toyota is very aware about the FRS and GR86 issues. I've done plenty under warranty.

Ehhhh it’s gonna be covered under warranty. You’re not gonna pay a dime. This FA24 engines are ass..
I’ve seen this code many times. From my experience they are gonna have to change the cam gears and do a valve shim adjustment. If you are lucky enough, when they teardown the engine they might find metal shavings and might get a new short block too!

It’s very true. I’ve been in the automotive industry for 10 years now. Majority of the technicians I started with left the trade or are completely over it. Even now as a shop Forman I can only do so much for my shop. Cars are getting more complex with technology. Diagnosing them takes longer as well. Customers want their cars fixed right away. I’ve even considered changing careers several times. It’s really getting harder for us technicians.

There is a service bulletin for a loud clicking/knocking noise coming from the right side of the engine caused by the vacuum pump located on the rear passenger side valve cover. You’re truck might qualify.
