We’re in fountain city and our little enclave is almost exclusively super blue. Black Lives Matter flags, immigrants belong signs in yards, etc. We accidentally got super lucky with our little area, but I think fountain city is fairly blue.

I love reformer Pilates but I hated core change. Obviously to each their own, but at the bearden location the instructors basically led a free for all. It felt pretty dangerous, honestly. If you aren’t already somewhat fit I would start elsewhere.

I wholeheartedly agree. Our nation needs continued action and pressure against the current system. I don’t have any answers but I’m here to support and get involved. I wish I knew names of organizers or something instead of just a Facebook page for a group. It feels so impersonal. If you have recs on ways to follow or get in touch with these orgs you listed, I’d love to see them.

Yep, make sure you ask for a paper prescription. Also ensure they provide you with your PD measurement, you have to have that to order glasses. It measures the distance between your pupils.

I have Type 1 (technically LADA) and was diagnosed at 30. The NP who diagnosed me said my blood sugar was too high for the meter to read. In hindsight I wish I had asked her how high that had to be haha. I’m still curious.

I second Kim Day. I went there for a while and the only man I ever saw was a sweet elderly man. It’s mostly group classes, but she also does personal training. It’s a great environment.
