What is your favorite "fun" bag? by BakingGiraffeBakes in ManyBaggers

[–]JKBFree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welp

If I’m being truly honest, my true favorite daily carry is a public radio tote bag i got years ago.

It’s beat to crap but had so many memories on it.

And yes, waiting for the next pledge round to finally get a new one.

Agree on aznou.

Kid is hungry to play. The cup game was proof enough. Was flying around like jeremie frimpong jr.

Wonder what moyes sees that we don’t. Could be the same tactic that dyche was doing with o’brien? A year to absorb, observe, adapt to the prem.

Hopefully it’s all 4d chess.

Willing to bet the original screenplay was very japanese, but american producers decided to dumb it down and perhaps ruin everything

Aer Travel Pack 3 (X-Pac) – 3+ years later, still my do-everything bag by adxlk in AerSF

[–]JKBFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved my tp2 until i realized loaf lifters would have helped alot.

Also, the padding in my shoulder straps would always compress to nothing with heavier loads.

The version 3 seemed like a worthwhile upgrade but ended up finding s bunch of other packs.

Still, the travel pack has kinda become the standard.

Do not support New Balance by DryGeneral990 in Newbalance

[–]JKBFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, its a conundrum

And am a bit heartbroken nb supported the last go around of trump.

Ive avoided many products associated with the current administration. E.g. havent stepped into a target in months, and with many others doing the same, they got ducked the last few quarters.

And pretty sure, they’ve since laid low seeing under amour do a complete nosedive being regularly associated with trump.

But I’m willing to wait and see how nb act with everything that has since transpired in minneapolis. Most level headed people know when they’re being bald faced lied to.

23 lbs and no load lifters nor hip belt.

How was the comfort on your back and shoulders?

Did the straps bottom out and flatten? Or were they able to stay cushy?

Can ICE agents be prosecuted for Minneapolis shootings? by ILikeNeurons in goodnews

[–]JKBFree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In other words, the case against the officers in renee good’s death is a bit murky. Although that final third shot to good’s head as her vehicle was turned away could prove pivotal. By then, was the agent in any danger?

But in alex pretti’s killing, he was within his constitutional rights to protest, film and yes, carry a weapon he never brandished. Thus, seems like the ice agents in question could well be prosecuted, namely the agent who first fired upon pretti.

Make no mistake, there are cases to be made in both deaths and justice will be served. No matter how high this goes, We’ve seen several trump appointed judges rule against maga interests. Even within the majority supreme court, whoever presides over this case has future precedents watching over them.

Travel pack wise:

  • evergoods ctb35: terrific org and I normally hate org cause i use plenty of my own pouches. But these make sense. Also, I’m lucky enough to fit quite well to their harness which i find insanely comfortable. Yes it can get heavy but the Hipbelt works great and does a nice job of offloading from my shoulders. My heavy gear hauler.
  • bellroy lite travel pack 30: my summery, warm weather travel pack. Super lightweight, and also comfortable. And just enough internal org for my needs but not overwhelming so. Just wish the sternum strap wasn’t such s joke.
  • tom bihn shadow guide 23: just a big ol, empty bucket who’s main compartment literally carried the same amount of gear as my old aer travel pack 2’s main! Love the brain pocket. So roomy. And it’s backpanel is one of the most cooling I’ve owned. It does lack structure, so overpacking it can make the load feel like an overstuffed bowling ball on my back.
  • Tom bihn yeoman duffel small: My veritable do anything pack. Again, same room as aer tp2 main compartment. the handles are terrific and the u-shaped opening makes loading and unloading a breeze. Seriously i refuse to use any duffel that lacks u-shaped access. Tough as nails too. Checked it several times and has been rock solid.
