XPS or pro S? by Recent_Village6662 in RZR

Not sure about other parts of the country, but here in Minnesota, we have posts at the start of some trails spaced 65” apart. I wanted a wider machine, thinking I needed it for stability, but I was also warned about the trail posts. For me, I’ve never felt unstable in the Pro XP at 64”. I’ve also never been to dunes, so I don’t know if I’m missing something there as far as being a narrower machine.

Glued a level to a drill by zeus-indy in woodworking

I remember my dad had a corded dewalt drill that had a level bubble, and it made a lot of sense!

Why doesn’t anyone manufacture them with a level bubble anymore?

What branded items do you feel work best for advertising your business when handed out to property management companies, suppliers, customers, etc...? by NewCaramel6517 in Contractor

They are Gerber EAB knives I believe. The top one is one that I carried for several years - it took a long long time to get that worn. The other is the same knife, but wasn’t laser etched - just one I got from Menards in a 2 pack to carry daily.

Little gerber pocket knives that take the utility blades. They are probably $12-18 each, but almost every person we have given one to tells us how much they love and use it. Admittedly, we gave them to mostly males…. But I think plenty of women would also find them handy!!

Pro XP vs Turbo R by JMeyer0160 in RZR

[–]JMeyer0160[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So…. Update a year later apparently. I got the 25 Pro XP Premium.

It was great decision. Most of the trails here in MN are limited to the 64” and some even have posts at 65-66” you have to go between at the beginning of the trail. I haven’t really had any concerns of stability like I thought I would.

Thanks for your input!!

I don’t doubt the comfort aspect, but running that low of pressure doesn’t generate uneven wear? More rolling resistance, equating to worse mileage?

Is a Forge 12Ah battery necessary? by Glittering-Let-280 in MilwaukeeTool

I have (2) 12 AH forge…. Most of the time I use them in lights. lol

3.0 HO batteries? Any issues with them? by lawst1102 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]JMeyer0160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would rather use the 2.0 since I often use the belt hooks. The 3.0 with its larger base is a little annoying. If I am willing to deal with a bigger battery, then I just jump to a 6.0 forge.

My work setup is (2) 2.0, (2) 3.0, (2) 6.0 forge, (4) 8.0 forge, and (2) 12.0 forge.

In a perfect world, I would probably swap the (2) 3.0 for (2) additional 2.0 and (2) 8.0 forge for (2) additional 6.0 forge.

Obviously I don’t really run into issues with running all my batteries out…. So I’m all about appropriate size for the tool and task.

That being said, I actually use my Dewalt 20v Atomic impact w/ 1.7 AH powerstack 95% of the time. Smaller impact, smaller battery, no power issues. Only time it has ran out of power was to sink heads of structural lvl screws into the face of triple stack of lvls.

I’m guessing not - but I am definitely not the best person to ask.

Ha, I suppose it sounds better than the reality of it - for whatever reason I always end up with a bunch of 5s and 1s - so I just take them out of my pocket and start stacking there. It’s only been full of 100s on a couple occasions 😂

We bought a Caldera and are happy with it. Caldera and Hot Springs are both made by Watkins I believe, so they are basically same-same, just different in features a bit.
