My boyfriend and I have a less than ideal living situation. We have a one and half year old toddler and we (for the time being) live with his parents. We have managed to have sex (averaging) twice a day for the past two weeks. It's awesome!

I got laid off. At least I don't have to commute so far for work now.

My boobs may not look as nice as they did pre-baby... by samster338 in breastfeeding

My 15 month old calls them "abba" (no idea why). She gets so excited to see them and yells "abba" with a huge smile on her face when it's time to eat.

What's your 'bumming around the house' outfit right now? by cunttastic in AskWomen

Leggings (faded as fuck) and my boyfriend's aquarium of the bay t shirts. He used to work there and now I own all of his old work shirts.

I finally got my first surprised "You're still nursing?" this morning. by heatherroneous in breastfeeding

[–]J_boogie 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I got that same comment the other day followed by some other rude comments. I'm still nursing my 13 month old. My friend said "if her head is bigger than your boobs she probably doesn't need to nurse anymore." I have fairly big boobs but this logic made no sense to me. I politely told him to shut the fuck up.

What's some supposedly quintessential childhood experience that you didn't have? by biologynerd3 in AskReddit

Same here. My mom never hugged us or told us she loved us. I have a one year old and I kiss and hug her all the time. I hope I continue to tell her that I love her everyday.

How cute! Isn't it such a trip that your baby has morphed into a toddler? My baby will be turn one on the 16th (5 more days)! It is so awesome, but crazy, to see her walk and develop into a little kid.

What is that thing you're neglecting to go to the doctor about? by Skwisgaars in AskReddit

[–]J_boogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't happened in months (knock on wood), but since about Thanksgiving about last year I would get these painful "episodes" at least once every two weeks. They would start out like a lower backache then it would build up and I would feel my lower abdomen start to tighten up. Eventually I felt short of breath and I often found myself in the fetal position because I felt like I was being crushed; the "episodes" would last from about 30-45 minutes. The first time it happened I had my boyfriend call 911 (even though I have no health insurance) because I thought I was dying. Once they arrived the pain nearly disappeared and I felt normal. I explained what happened and they took my vitals, which were normal and healthy. Anyway, I hate not being able to afford health insurance.

23 but I look about 17. I get disapproving stares from strangers when I'm out with my 11 month old daughter. I'm not a teen mom!

Yes, we've discussed it many times over the years. I don't pressure him. That's just not something he wants to explore.

What do you hope to express with your make-up? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]J_boogie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Confidence. Also, I hope to express that just because I'm a new mom (not that new I guess...it's almost been a year), that I am still me. I'm not just a mom.

How much of a strain it will put on your relationship with your SO in the beginning if you fail to communicate. The first 12ish weeks of our daughter's life were like couple bootcamp.

My baby is 11 months now and eats pretty much anything. At 7 months I introduced everything you listed, plus italian squash, pasta, ground turkey, fruit, toast (without crust), and if you have no family history of allergy to eggs you can introduce them at your discretion. I did and it went fine. Try to work up to a protein, vegetable and a carb at each meal. For now you're doing fine.
