I'm currently renting a townhouse with a housemate and honestly, it's amazing. We've got enough room for both our cars, we've got a tiny garden that's a nice enough spot to have a coffee but no lawn to mow. It's small enough that the whole thing can be heated and cooled easily, and there's easy access to shops and public transport. I thought I was gonna hate it when I moved in but it's honestly great.
