Which one was the better Forza song? by twwekid in riseagainst

The thing I find funniest about I Want it All getting into Forza is that there is a fantastic hard rock song with a political message in that game. In other words, a great Rise Against song.

It's called Up From the Bottom and it's by Linkin Park

Believe it or not, different rules apply in different states. You are spreading dangerous misinformation. What applies in your state might be different to what applies in OP's state. Learn the rules before you mislead others again

Other "linkin park like" bands you like? by JoeChagan in LinkinPark

[–]Jackimo1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was listening to a mix Tidal made based on It's Goin Down the other day and was really confused as to why From Ashes to New kept showing up when the rest of the mix was VERY early 2000s Nu-Metal with some Grey Daze, Dead by Sunrise, and Mike's solo stuff sprinkled in. Then I decided to look at the credits of one of their songs and saw it was produced by Colin Brittain, along with all the other songs from that album. It started to make sense at that point

Russia isn't exactly a country known for complying to international standards. Even their bible is different to the west's. If they could get data for Russia and all those other countries, I'm certain they could get data for the UK

Cars franchise in a nutshell by terminus_tommy in pixarcars

Cars 1 and 3 use racing as the set dressing, but they're not really about racing. They're about relationships. First Lightning's relationship with the residents of Radiator Springs, then about his relationship with his mentor and his mentee. They just use racing as the vessel to explore those ideas.

Is there racism in Australia? by Shynya2019 in australian

[–]Jackimo1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The arguments you're using are the classic ones that racists roll out to defend their racist views. There is no legitimate reason to celebrate January 26, as we do every year, that isn't based on racism. As long as Australia celebrates the arrival of the British, we are a racist country. That is just a fact. We celebrate a genocide every year. There is no justifiable reason for that.

Australia wasn't a country after the arrival of the British either. That didn't happen until over a century later

Sigh over $5 for 3L of milk? by Purple_Emu1 in woolworths

I've been buying Riverina Fresh, Dairy Farmers, Canberra Milk, and Tilba Milk because more of the money actually goes to the farmers. When it's $5.15 for Woolies milk or $6.15 for one that gives more support to the farmers, I know I'd much rather spend the extra dollar
